- a predetermined frictional force is generated between each of the drive sheave 11 and the deflecting wheel 9 and the friction belt 12 and between each main rope 13 and the friction belt 12.
- the friction belt 12 performs a circular movement according to the rotation of the drive sheave 11, and each main rope 13 performs a movement according to the circular movement of the friction belt 12.
- the maximum frictional force between each of the drive sheave 11 and the deflecting wheel 9 and the friction belt 12 is larger than the maximum frictional force between each main rope 13 and the friction belt 12.
- the maximum frictional force is a frictional force immediately before a slip occurs between members in contact with each other. Therefore, even when each main rope 13 slides with respect to the friction belt 12, the friction belt 12 is prevented from slipping with respect to each of the drive sheave 11 and the deflecting wheel 9.

- the angle which added the winding angle of the main rope 13 with respect to the vehicle 9 to the winding angle of the main rope 13 with respect to the drive sheave 11 can be made into the winding angle which contributes to traction capability, and aims at improvement of traction capability Can do.
- the friction belt 12 is interposed between the drive sheave 11 and the deflecting wheel 9 and the main rope 13, the metal generated between the drive sheave 11 and the deflecting wheel 9 and the main rope 13 Can be avoided, and the life of each of the drive sheave 11, the deflector wheel 9, and the main rope 13 can be extended. Further, since the life of the main rope 13 can be extended, the diameter of the main rope 13 can be reduced, and the ratio (D / d ratio) between the diameter of the drive sheave 11 and the diameter of the main rope 13 can be maintained. The diameters of the drive sheave 11 and the deflecting wheel 9 can be reduced. Thereby, size reduction of the hoisting machine 8 and the deflecting wheel 9 can be achieved, and size reduction of the whole elevator apparatus can be achieved.
- the friction belt 12 is provided with the rope groove 16 into which the main rope 13 is inserted, the main rope 13 can be prevented from coming off from the friction belt 12.
- the drive sheave 11 and The friction belt 12 can be made difficult to slip with respect to each of the deflecting wheels 9, and the life of the friction belt 12 can be extended. That is, when slip occurs between each of the drive sheave 11 and the deflecting wheel 9 and the friction belt 12, the friction belt 12 is worn. The worn friction belt 12 becomes more slippery with respect to the drive sheave 11. Therefore, as the friction belt 12 wears, the friction belt 12 eventually slides completely with respect to the drive sheave 11, and the driving force of the drive sheave 11 is transmitted to the main rope 13. It will disappear. Therefore, by making the friction belt 12 difficult to slip with respect to each of the drive sheave 11 and the deflecting wheel 9, it is possible to suppress the progress of wear of the friction belt 12 and to extend the life of the friction belt 12. .

- One end of each main rope 13 is connected to the first rope stop 24, and the other end of each main rope 13 is connected to the second rope stop 25.
- Each main rope 13 is wound from the first rope stopper 24 in the order of the car suspension wheel 26, the drive sheave 11, the deflector 9, and the counterweight suspension wheel 27, and reaches the second rope stopper 25. ing.
- Each main rope 13 is wound around the drive sheave 11 and the deflecting wheel 9 via a friction belt 12.
- the car 4 and the counterweight 5 are moved up and down in the hoistway 1 by the rotation of the drive sheave 11.
- Other configurations are the same as those of the second embodiment.
- the hoisting machine 8 is larger than the deflecting wheel 9, if the hoisting machine 8 is disposed above the counterweight 3, than the case where the deflector 9 is disposed above the counterweight 3,
- the upper limit position of the range in which the counterweight 3 is raised and lowered is lowered.
- the deflecting wheel 9 is disposed above the counterweight 3 if the drive sheave 11 is disposed at a position higher than the position of the deflecting wheel 9, the height direction of the hoistway 1 is It gets bigger.
