Abstract

 1以上の単位電池から構成される燃料電池層を2以上積層してなる燃料電池スタックであって、互いに隣接するいずれか2つの燃料電池層は、それぞれ1以上の隙間領域を有し、該互いに隣接するいずれか2つの燃料電池層のうち、一方の燃料電池層が有する隙間領域の少なくとも一部は、他方の燃料電池層を構成する単位電池と接しており、かつ、一方の燃料電池層が有する隙間領域と、他方の燃料電池層が有する隙間領域とは連通している燃料電池スタックおよびこれを用いた燃料電池システムが提供される。当該燃料電池スタックは、燃料または酸化剤の供給性能に優れており、また、高出力密度を実現されている。
