Abstract

 本発明は、下記式(I)で示される重合性液晶化合物、該重合性液晶化合物及び重合可能なキラル化合物を含有する重合性液晶組成物、前記重合性液晶化合物又は重合性液晶組成物を重合して得られる液晶性高分子、該液晶性高分子を構成材料とする光学異方体である。 本発明によれば、より液晶相を示す温度範囲が広く、化学的に安定であり、安価に製造でき、しかも、選択反射波長帯域Δλが広い(Δnが大きい)重合性液晶化合物等が提供される。 (式中、Y1~Y6は、-O-、-O-C(=O)-、-C(=O)-O-等を、G1及びG2は、炭素数1~20の2価の脂肪族基等を、Z1及びZ2は炭素数2~10のアルケニル基等を、A1及びA2は炭素数1~30の2価の有機基Aを、X1~X8は水素原子等をそれぞれ表す。a、bは0又は1である。)
