Abstract

 本発明は、(1)金属ケイ素またはケイ素含有化合物、及び、(2)軟化点もしくは融点を有するケイ素不含の有機化合物を共に不活性ガス中又は真空中にて300~1500°Cの温度で炭化させて得られた多孔性ケイ素含有炭素系複合材料に関する。本発明の多孔性ケイ素含有炭素系複合材料は電池の電極として使用することができる。これにより、高い可逆容量と安定した充放電サイクル特性を有し、リチウムが放出される際の電位損失が小さく、更に、簡易な製造プロセスで電池を製造することができる。
