Abstract

 遮光膜は、樹脂により構成され、一方基板における他方基板側の表面において一方基板の端辺に沿って途切れることなく連続して形成されると共に、表示領域の外縁から一方基板の端辺に至るまで形成されている。一方基板は、他方基板よりも薄く形成されている。さらに、一方基板における他方基板側の表面には、表面高さが一定である領域が一方基板の端辺に沿って形成されている。
