Abstract

L'invention concerne un acier inoxydable martensitique dans lequel la composition d'acier est limitée par rapport à des composants spécifiques, le taux de Mo est défini par rapport à la valeur IM, la structure métallique de l'acier est principalement constituée de martensite revenue, un carbure précipité pendant le revenu et des composés intermétalliques, une phase Laves et une phase sigma microprécipités pendant le revenu. Ledit acier inoxydable martensitique présente une haute résistance de 860 Mpa ou plus, une limite d'élasticité de 0,2 % et peut présenter une excellente résistance à la corrosion du gaz carbonique et à la fissuration par corrosion sous contrainte due au sulfure. De plus, ledit acier inoxydable martensitique peut être utilisé comme acier hautement praticable dans un large spectre de domaines, notamment les oléoducs, exposés à un environnement contenant du gaz carbonique, du sulfure d'hydrogène, du ion chlorure ou au moins deux de ces composés.
