- the invention relates to a device for slicing food products, such as ham, sausage, cheese and the like, with a rotatingly driven and / or planetary rotating cutting knife, the cutting plane of which is perpendicular to a product support surface of a product feed device, the end of the product support surface on the cutting knife part of a cutting edge is formed, which forms a cutting gap together with the cutting knife.
- Devices of this type which are usually also referred to as slicers and work at very high cutting speeds, require clean and flawless cuts even at these very high working speeds and in particular also more difficult to cut products.
