Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum Feuerbeschichten von metallischen Bändern, insbesondere von warmgewalztem Stahlband, bei dem das Metallband in einer Abwickelstation mit sich anschliessender Schweissmaschine zunächst in ein Endlosband überführt und das Endlosband dann einem nachgeschalteten Veredelungsprozess unterworfen wird, der eine Haupt- sowie eine Nachbeize und in einem letzten Behandlungsschritt im Feuerbeschichtungsteil das Hindurchführen des Endlosbandes durch ein Schmelzbad vorsieht, wird mit verringertem Aufwand ein variablerer Beschichtungsprozess ermöglicht, wenn das Endlosband in einem ersten Behandlungsschritt direkt in eine Beize transportiert wird. Bei einer zum Durchführen des Verfahrens geeigneten Anlage ist die Hauptbeize im Einlaufteil und von dem Feuerbeschichtungsteil durch Einlaufspeicher entkoppelt angeordnet.
