Abstract

"PROCESSO E INSTALAçãO PARA REVESTIMENTO POR IMERSãO A QUENTE DE FAIXAS METáLICAS". Em um processo para o revestimento por imersão a quente de faixas metálicas, especialmente de faixa de aço laminada a quente, em que a faixa metálica é inicialmente transformada em uma faixa contínua em uma estação de desenrolamento com uma máquina de solda contígua, sendo então a faixa sem fim submetida a um processo de beneficiamento a jusante, processo este que prevê um banho ácido principal e secundário, e em uma última etapa de tratamento na parte de revestimento por imersão a quente a condução da faixa sem fim através de um banho de fusão, é possível um processo de revestimento variável com um dispêndio reduzido, quando a faixa sem fim é transportada em uma primeira etapa de tratamento para um banho de acido. Em uma instalação para a condução do processo, o banho de ácido principal é disposto na parte de alimentação e é desacoplado da parte de revestimento por imersão a quente pelo reservatório de alimentação.
