Definitions
- the present invention relates to a chain saw with a motor, which is fastened to a housing and has an inlet duct, which inlet duct is connected via a flexible suction hose to a carburetor for decoupling vibrations, which in turn is mounted on the housing with the aid of fastening means.
- Such a chainsaw is e.g. known from the document DE-A1-42 34 483.
- the carburetor of a chainsaw driven by an internal combustion engine (usually a high-speed 2-stroke engine) has a significant influence on the operating behavior of the device. Vibrations that come from the moving piston of the engine and act on the carburetor can lead to an irregular fuel supply, which jeopardizes trouble-free engine operation. For this reason, it is previously known in engines which are provided with a carburetor to connect the carburetor to the engine by means of an elastic inlet pipe and, in addition, to provide an elastic suspension of the carburetor in the housing.
- Such elastic suspensions can be provided by some types of elastic elements, usually rubber. Such elements make it possible to achieve efficient vibration isolation of the carburetor. However, it is a disadvantage of such a suspension that sufficient elastic elements allow excessive movements of the carburetor for vibration isolation.
- An elastic inlet pipe is known for example from DE-GM 1 762 310 or SE-PS 8 6022481-7. 0/00330
- E i ne ge ⁇ exact position of the carburetor is to ensure i ednger exhaust emissions n prerequisite.
- a schwingungsreduz i ⁇ erte Befest of the carburetor in the suction strength would therefore very Vorte of i l.
- the ⁇ for the attachment of the carburetor should be simple, serv i cefreund. i ch as well as be inexpensive.
- the known articulated connection has several disadvantages. On the one hand, such a connection is comparatively Expense i g and complicated in structure because parts are manufactured with joint holes and "fc articulations must be equipped with corresponding hinge pins out ⁇ . Secondly, the installation and servicemäß i ge disassembly is expensive because the hinge pins mounted in the hinge connections with a lot of effort and must be secured or released and demonhe-t "ground. Finally, the hinged connection allows only e ⁇ i ne be restricted mobility of the carburettor, namely, in the direction transverse to hinged connection. A movement in the direction of i Gelenkverb invention, however, can only be implemented at great expense, if d i e ⁇ Ge guiding pins are designed to be elastic.
- the storage is greatly simplified by dispensing with an articulated fastening of the carburetor to the housing by means of articulated bolts and the like, and without any supporting and limiting device.
- the elastically articulated single-point suspension ensures that the carburetor is spatially fixed, but at the same time it is effectively decoupled from the engine and the housing due to the elastic mobility in different spatial directions.
- an effective damping device is created.
- the preferably progressive characteristic of the spring constants of the elastic element ensures that both higher-frequency vibrations and vibrations with a lower frequency are effectively damped.
- a first preferred embodiment of the chain saw according to the invention is characterized in that a receptacle made of an elastic material, in particular an elastic sleeve made of rubber, is fastened to the housing and that the carburetor is detachably latched into the receptacle or elastic sleeve with a snap-in part.
- the carburetor can be assembled particularly easily by snapping it into the receptacle or disassembling it from the receptacle.
- the latching part is designed as a spherical head. By dispensing with latching edges, the latching part can be latched or unlatched with comparatively little resistance.
- the ball head also acts like a ball joint.
- a pin can also be formed, which is pushed through the sleeve (not shown).
- the sleeve can be made even more generous (eg air chamber) in order to achieve a special damper characteristic and at the same time to ensure a “fixed” adjustment (fastening).
- Another embodiment of the elastic sleeve allows a much more elastic design of the damping element. Due to the very elastic design, the assembly process of the damping element is not possible together with the intake flange. For this reason, the damping element is separated from the intake flange and used beforehand in the assembly sequence. The suction flange is snapped into place.
- a very "soft" characteristic curve can be achieved for the design of the damping element due to the egg-shaped shape in the direction of the carburetor base.
- the spring characteristic curve is seen in the crankshaft axis b
- the entire intake system can be stored softly, but can still be held axially securely.
- Fig. 1 approximately example of a chain saw according to the invention Erf i with the motor and the associated carburetor which is elastically mounted on a molded-on ball head in the intake manifold of an elasti ⁇ recording rule in the housing bottom,
- FIG. 3 an elastic sleeve th in a diagrammatical view of a further embodiment in the incorporated notch in the intake manifold ⁇ installation situation.
- Fig. 1 in a sectional partial view of the motor 101 is a Mo ⁇ torsäge again added 100.
- the engine 101 comprises a cylinder 10 with egg ⁇ nem inlet channel 11 and an outlet 12, and a piston 14, with its. Crankcase 13 screwed to the bottom 20 of a housing 102.
- the housing 102 at least partially surrounds the motor 101 and is closed off at the top by a hood 24.
- Inside the housing 102 is a vertical partition 23 separated from the engine 101 lying suction space 19, which is closed at the top by a (removable) cover 22, and in which a carburetor 16, in particular in the form of a membrane carburetor, is underneath
- the carburetor 16 On the output side, the carburetor 16 is connected to the inlet duct 11 of the engine 101 through an elastic suction hose 15. The suction hose 15 passes through an opening in the partition 23 and is latched there. On the input side, the carburetor 16 merges into an intake manifold 17, which opens into an air filter 18 and bends upwards.
- a ball head 25 is integrally formed on the underside, which engages in an elastic sleeve 21 made of rubber.
- the elastic sleeve 21 in turn has lugs or pegs with which it can be inserted or pushed through into one (or more) opening (s) located in the base 20.
- a differently shaped nose or a pin with an undercut can be used, which can be inserted or pushed through a correspondingly shaped opening in the elastic sleeve or a comparable elastic receptacle.
- the ball head 25 has the particular advantage that it is particularly easy to insert and at the same time acts as a ball joint.
- the transmission of vibrations to the carburetor 16 can be significantly reduced.
- the carburetor 16 which (for further avoidance of heat transfer and vibrations) is connected to the cylinder 10 via the elastic suction hose 15, is fixed in all required directions.
- the sleeve (receptacle) 21 is mounted in the base 20 of the housing 102, then the intake manifold 17 with the carburetor 16 attached to it.
- the disassembly is carried out in the reverse order. No tools are required for this.
- an elastic sleeve 26 which consists of an elastic, annular damping body 27 with fastening parts 28, 29 formed thereon for fastening to the housing base 20 and to the intake manifold 17.
- the damping body 27 can be optimally adjusted with regard to the desired suspension damping behavior by choosing the diameter of the ring 27a and the cross section of the body.
- the fastening parts 28, 29 can be designed differently.
- the fastening part 28 has a rod-shaped holding arm 30 with an end locking button 31, while the fastening part 29 has a rod-shaped holding arm 32 with a locking connection 33.
- the locking head 31 is inserted into a correspondingly shaped locking receptacle 34 on the intake manifold 17, while the holding arm 32 is locked into a corresponding recess (not shown) in the housing base 20.
- FIG. 3 shows a further embodiment of a sleeve 26, the holding arm 34 of which is inserted with the discharge end piece 35 into the housing base 20.
- the invention results in a chain saw with an internal combustion engine, in which the carburetor is largely decoupled from harmful vibrations in a simple, inexpensive and assembly- and service-friendly manner. / 00330
