- the present invention refers, as its title indicates to a flexible packaging manipulator device, of the type used in horizontal packaging machines, intended to form envelopes from a complex heat-sealable sheet, fill them with the product to be packaged and weld their mouths once filled, this device including scissors that cut the continuously shaped envelopes from the complex sheet, an envelope lifting mechanism, and a carousel that describes a horizontal path; said carousel being composed of a movable chain on which several sets of transport clamps are fixed horizontally on its outer side that collect the envelopes supplied by the lifting clamps in a collection station, moving them horizontally through the filling and closing stations of the packaging machine, to finally release them in an envelope release station.
- envelopes which include a carousel that describes a trajectory on a vertical plane, describing the two branches, conductive and driven, of the chain horizontal paths at different heights; this determines that during the filling of the envelopes by the packaging machine, the spilled product spills on the chains and moving parts of the device, causing breakdowns and / or a malfunction of the device and also require periodic cleaning to eliminate the product spilled on moving parts.

- the support means of the end wheels of the side clamps are composed of two initial guide portions, which determine the arrangement of the side clamps in an unattended position and at a distance of the central clamp equal to the width of the envelopes to be handled.
- the support means of the end wheels of the side calipers are composed of a movable pusher which, when entering with respect to the plane defined by the initial guide portions, determines the folding of the lateral clamps located in said station and its approach to the central clamp to achieve the opening of the mouth of the envelopes held by the set of clamps that is at each moment in said filling station.
- the support means of the end wheels of the side clamps are composed of two final guide portions defining an initial ramp section that starts from the plane defined by the inward position of the movable pusher and a coplanar end section with the initial portions of guide arranged in the envelope collection station, causing the unfastening of the side clamps and the closing of the mouths of the envelopes to facilitate their heat welding.
- the opening and closing of the tweezers, to carry out the collection and subsequent release of the envelopes, is determined by treadmills that act simultaneously on the pressing arms of the tweezers included in each set.
- the scissors, the treadmills that determine the opening and closing of the clamps, and the lifting clamps are actuated by independent sets of levers on which a camshaft moved by the driving group that moves the carousel acts.
