The accompanying photographic iiius- 2o tration represents a stove which embodies niy invention.
A represenlstlichasc, which is rectangular in shape, and which is supported upon four legs1 '13, having an outline ogee in forni. Placed between the legs B are the four connecting-strips, C, which have raised ornamental serolhworl( upon their surfaces. At the center of cach plaie G there is a. circle formed, which contains a number of parallel beads,
3o and from which radiate fonr small scrolls.
Upon the sides of this central circle are large scrolls, as shown. The ends of these strips are circular, corresponding to the volutes formed upon the legs ll. The columns D at each front corner of the stove form the outer walls ofthe air-circulating fine, open at top and bottom, and have their surfaces ornamented with con ventional foliage.
The side panels, E, of testove are each ornamented by a sprite holding aloft a naming torch, the flame of which passes through the damper F and extends on up to the top of the panel.
The front of the stove has the panel G extending across its surface'and projecting for- 5o below this panel G, has irregular-shaped damperopenings surrounded by ornamented heads and scrolls terminating at each end with conventionalizcd palm leaves. Above the panel G are the two mica doors I, each one of which has two openings, andhavc ornamental scrolls ruiming through the central har in front ofthe mica. Above the mica doors I is a bead, J, which has the same curve as the panel G. Above this bead .T are the two upper mica doors, L,wl1ich are each divided by two crossbars into four spaces to receive the mica., and are ornan'iented by scrolls springing from the center bars, and, turning outward, are finished with smaller scrolls at the corners of the doo rs. Above these doors is an ornamental plate, N, which has a face at its center and upon each side thereof a rosette surrounded upon three sides with ornamental scroll-work.
The top O of the stove is composed of two convex moldings, and the upper one is ornamentcd with small parallel beads, which eX- tend vertically.
The top of the stove l is ornamented with heavy scroll-Work and open or-fret work at the top of each one of the lines D. The cover Q has an ornamental scroll-work panel at the front and sides, and forms the seat for the top ornament, R.
Extending from opposite sides of the stove, near its lower portion, are the ornamental brackets S, between which the foot-rests T are supported. These foot-rails are made semieyliudrical and provided at each end with an ornamental hemispherical cap, U,
As will be seen from the accompanying photographic illustration, this stove is very highly finished and presents an elegant and beautiful appearance, which especially adapts it for use in parlors, sittingrooms, and other similar places.
Having thus described my invention, I claim- 1. In a design for a heating-stove herein described and shown, the nase A, consisting of the feet B and the ornamental skirting C, as shown.
