  • a crossed road traffic system including four main roads crossed at a crossroad, characterized in that: the main roads are divided into a road front section and a road rear section connected to the crossroad, a sidewalk stretching over the main roads is disposed between the road front section and the road rear section, two sides of the sidewalk near the curb are provided with pedestrian signal lights, in an advancing direction from the road front section to the crossroad, from outside to inside, is sequentially provided with a front section right-turn lane, a front section turnback lane and a front section through lane, between the road front section and the sidewalk is a front section signal light group that controls passing of the front section right-turn lane, the front section turnback lane and the front section through lane, in an advancing direction from the road rear section to the crossroad, from outside to inside, is sequentially provided with a rear section right-turn lane which turns right to the adjacent main road and a rear section through lane, in a direction where the road rear section drives away from the crossroad, from outside to inside, is sequentially provided with

  • One side of the sidewalk 5 near the road front section 3 and one side near the road rear section 4 are provided with a turning basin 9 that provides vehicles with a turnback space, and in this way, the vehicles will not overrun the pedestrians on the sidewalk 5 while turning back, thereby ensuring safety of the pedestrian.
  • One end of the road rear section 4 near the crossroad 2 is provided with a landmark 41 that allows vehicles on an adjacent lane to go straightly through the crossroad 2 , and the function of the landmark 41 is mainly as follows: when a vehicle has not entered into the crossroad 2 , vehicles on adjacent lanes begins to go straight, at this point, vehicles not entering into the crossroad 2 need to wait for completion of passing after the landmark 41 , and can drive into the crossroad 2 in safe situations.

  • the present invention has no direct left-turn lanes, vehicles needing to turn left need to turn right to a turnback lane on an adjacent lane and then turn back and go straight to achieve left-turn, and the traffic lights are reduced to two groups from multi-group jump, which simplifies time and procedure of vertical and horizontal traffic alternation.
  • the present invention is people-oriented, and jump time of traffic light groups is subject to the time required by the blind to safely cross the seven-lane-width sidewalk.
