Homogen deteksjon under eller etter PCR-amplifisering, fortrinnsvis LATE-PCR ved benyttelse av et fluorescerende DNA-fargestoff og indirekte eksiterbare merkede primere og prober forbedrer reproduserbarhet og kvantifisering. Lavtemperaturs homogen deteksjon under eller etter usymmetrisk PCR-amplifisering, fortrinnsvis LATE-PCR, ved benyttelse av et fluorescerende DNA-fargestoff og indirekte eksiterbare merkede feiltilpasningstolerante prober hindrer analyse av komplekse målsekvenser. Fremgangsmåter for klargjøring av prøver for sekvensering etter LATE-PCR-amplifisering reduserer kompleksiteten og tillater "enrørs" behandling.
