Abstract

Et fortøyningssystem for fartøy som omfatter minst to fortøyningsroboter festet til en terminal er vist, der hver robot innbefatter et festeelement med tiltrekningskraft for eksempel en vakuumkopp og en basisstruktur festet i forhold til terminalen. Festeelementet kan foreta inngrep med en vertikalt ragende sideflate på fartøyet og til å utøve en tiltrekningskraft normalt på fartøyets overflate mot hvilken den skal bli festet. Hver robot innbefatter innretninger for å måle tiltrekningskraften mellom festeelementet og fartøyet for å tilveiebringe en "kapasitetsavlesning over tiltrekningskraft". Det er også tilveiebrakt en innretning for å måle kraften mellom festeelementet og den faste struktur til fortøyningsroboten for å tilveiebringe en "normalkraftavlesning". Fra overvåkingen av forholdet mellom kapasitetsavlesningen over tiltrekningskraft og normalkraften kan en kontroll over fortøyningsroboten tilveiebringes slik at dersom det er en tendens til å separere festeelementene fra fartøyet kan tiltrekningskraften bli øket og/eller en alarm lyde.
