Abstract
En kombinert avgassings- og flotasjonstank for separasjon av innløps vann inneholdende. vesentlige mengder olje og gass. En roterende strøm dannes i tanken som tvinger de lettere komponentene som olje og gassdråper mot den indre konsentriske sylindriske veggen der de koaleserer og stiger til væskeoverflaten og fjernes via uttaket (3) og de tyngre delene tvinges ned der de tunge partiklene synker til nedre delen der de kan fjernes som slam. Vannet tømmes ut via ett uttak i den nedre delen av tanken. Den kombinerte avgassings- og flotasjonstanken er spesielt egnet for anvendelse i oljeproduksjon til sjøs for fjerning av olje og gass fra vannstrømmer før vannet returneres til havet.
