Werkwijze voor het bereiden van 2-(2-aminothiazool-4-yl)-glyoxylzuur of een zout daarvan, tussenprodukten daarvoor, en werkwijze voor het bereiden van de tussenprodukten.
5 De uitvinding heeft betrekking op een nieuwe werkwijze voor het bereiden van 2-(2-aminothiazool-4-y1)-glyoxylzuur of een zout daarvan, tussenprodukten daarvoor, en op een werkwijze voor het bereiden van de tussenprodukten.
2-(2-Aminothiazool-4-yl)glyoxylzuur met de 10 formule 1 op het formuleblad waarin een al dan niet be schermde aminogroep voorstelt, en de zouten daarvan zijn uitgangsverbindingen voor het bereiden van verschillende cefalosporine antibiotica. In de ter inzage gelegde Japanse octrooiaanvrage 125.190/77 of 5.193/78 is een werkwijze 15 beschreven voor het bereiden van 2-(2-aminothiazool-4-yl)- glycoxylzuur door oxydatia van een al dan niet beschermde 2-aminothiazool-4-yl azijnzuurester met seleendioxyde of kaliumpermanganaat. Een andere werkwijze is beschreven in de ter inzage gelegde Japanse octrooiaanvragen 112.895/78 20 en 154.785/79. Daarbij wordt een ester van acetylglycoxyl- zuur gehalogeneerd en daarna tot reaktie gebracht met thioureum gevolgd door hydrolyse.
Gevonden is dat 2-(2-aminothiazool-4-yl)glyoxylzuur kan worden bereid door reaktie van een verbinding met 25 de formule 2 met een dialkyl- of diaralkylsulfoxyde en het daarbij gevormde reaktieprodukt met de formule 3 waarin R£ een alkyl- of aralkylgroep voorstelt, te hydrolyseren.
Zie het reaktieschema A op het formuleblad waarin Rj de boven aangegeven betekenis heeft, R^ een alkyl- of aralkyl-30 groep voorstelt en Xj een halogeenatoom voorstelt, waarbij de verbindingen met formule I, 2 en 3 in de zoutvorm kunnen verkeren.

Andere geschikte beschermende groepen die gemakkelijk verwijderd kunnen worden zijn trityl, 0- nitrofenylsulfenyl, 2,4-dinitrofenylsulfenyl, 2-hydroxy-benzylideen, 2-hydroxy-5-chloorbenzylideen, 2-hydroxy-l- 15 naftylmethyleen, 3-hydroxy-4-pyridylmethyleen, 1-methoxycarbo- nyl-2-propylideen, l-ethoxycarbonyl-2-propylideen, 3-ethoxy-carbonyl-2-butylideen, l-acetyl-2-propylideen, l-benzoyl-2-propylideen, 1-/N-(2-methoxyfenyl)carbamoyl7~2-propylideen, 1- (4-methoxyfeny1)-carbamoylj-2-propylideen, 2-ethoxycar- 20 bonylcyclohexylideen, 2-ethoxycarbonylcyclopentylideen, 2- acetylcyclohexylideen, 3,3-dimethyl-5-oxocyclohexylideen, en (di-, tri-)alkylsilylgroepen.
Voorbeelden van alkyl- en aralkylgroepen zijn methyl, ethyl, n-propyl en benzyl.
25 Xj kan fluor, chloor, broom of jood zijn.
Zouten van de verbindingen met de formule 1 omvatten aminezouten en metaalcarboxylaten en van de verbindingen met de formule 2 en 3 aminezouten. De aminezouten kunnen afgeleid zijn van een anorganisch zuur bijvoorbeeld 30 fluorwaterstofzuur, chloorwaterstofzuur, broomwaterstofzuur of zwavelzuur, een carbonzuur bijvoorbeeld mierezuur, tri-fluorazijnzuur, trichloorazijnzuur of oxaalzuur, of een sulfonzuur bijvoorbeeld methaansulfzonzuur, p-tolueensulfonzuur of 1- of 2-naftaleensulfonzuur. De metaalcarboxylaten 35 kunnen afgeleid zijn van een alkalimetaalatoom bijvoorbeeld 8302151 * 3 natrium of kalium of van een aardalkalimetaalatoom bijvoorbeeld calcium of magnesium.
De reaktie van de verbinding met de formule 2 met het dialkyl- of diaralkylsulfoxyde wordt uitgevoerd in 5 een inert oplosmiddel bijvoorbeeld een alkohol zoals methanol, ethanol of isopropanol, een ether zoals tetrahydrofuran of dioxan, een amide zoals Ν,Ν-dimethylformamide, N,N-dimethyl-aceetamide of hexamethyIfosforamide, of een mengsel daarvan. Het dialkyl- of diaralkylsulfoxyde, bijvoorbeeld dimethyΙ-ΙΟ sulfoxyde, diethylsulfoxyde, di-n-propylsulfoxyde of di- benzylsulfoxyde, wordt bij voorkeur toegepast in een hoeveelheid van tenminste 2,0 mol en meer,bij voorkeur van 3,0-4,0 mol, per mol verbinding met de formule 2 of een zout daarvan. Desgewenst kan het sulfoxyde als oplosmiddel worden gebruikt. 15 Wanneer in de verbinding met de formule 2 een chlooratoom is, wordt de reaktie bij voorkeur uitgevoerd bij aanwezigheid van een bromide zoals waterstofbromide, kaliumbromide, ammoniumbromide of triethylammoniumbromide, in een hoeveelheid van bij voorkeur tenminste 0,5 mol en meer bij voorkeur 20 0,5-1,0 mol per mol verbinding met de formule 2 of een zout daarvan. De reaktietemperatuur bedraagt in het algemeen ongeveer 10-80° C en de reaktietijd gewoonlijk 5 minuten tot 20 uren. De reaktie kan worden versneld door toevoegen van een dialkylsulfide zoals dimethylsulfide of diethylsul-25 fide, een dialkyldisulfide zoals dimethyIdisulfide of diethyl- disulfide, een diaralkylsulfide zoals dibenzylsulfide, een diaralkyIdisulfide zoals dibenzyIdisulfide, een alkylmercap-tan zoals methylmercaptan of ethylmercaptan, of een aralkyl-mercaptan zoals benzylmercaptan, in een hoeveelheid van 30 tenminste 1,0 mol per mol verbinding met de formule 2 of een zout daarvan.
De hydrolyse van de verbinding met de formule 3 wordt uitgevoerd in water of een alkohol bijvoorbeeld methanol of ethanol, en bij voorkeur bij aanwezigheid van 35 een base. Geschikte basen zijn anorganische basen bijvoorbeeld 8302151 4 natriumhydroxide, kaliumhydroxyde, bariumhydroxyde, calcium-hydroxyde, natriumcarbonaat of kaliumcarbonaat, en organische basen bijvoorbeeld triethylamine of pyridine. De hoeveelheid waarin de base wordt toegepast bedraagt, tenminste 2,0 mol 5 per mol verbinding met de formule 3 of een zout daarvan.
De verbindingen met de formule 1, 2 en 3 en de zouten daarvan vormen met het gebruikte oplosmiddel solvaten. Deze vallen binnen het kader van de uitvinding.
De uitgangsverbinding met de formule 2 of de 10 zouten daarvan kunnen worden bereid zoals weergegeven in reaktieschema B waarin Xj en X^» die gelijk of verschillend kunnen zijn, een halogeenatoom voorstellen, en Rj de boven aangegeven betekenis heeft, waarbij de verbinding met de formule 2 weer in de zoutvorm kan verkeren.
15 De halogenering van butaan-2,3-dion met de formule 4 en de halogenering van daarbij gevormd 1-halogeen-butaan-2,3-dion met de formule 5 tot 1,4-dihalogeenbutaan- 2,3-dion met de formule 6a worden onder dezelfde omstandigheden uitgevoerd. Beide halogeneringen kunnen met of zonder 20 oplosmiddel worden uitgevoerd. Geschikte oplosmiddelen zijn bijvoorbeeld aromatische koolwaterstoffen zoals benzeen, tolueen of xyleen, ethers zoals diethylether, diisopropyl-ether, tetrahydrofuran of dioxan, gehalogeneerde koolwaterstoffen zoals methyleenchloride, chloroform, tetrachloor-25 koolstof of dichloorethaan,. carbonzuren zoals azijnzuur, of mengsels daarvan. Als halogeneringsmiddel kunnen de voor het halogeneren van een koolwaterstof gebruikelijke halogener ingsmiddelen worden gebruikt. Voor het chloreren kunnen bijvoorbeeld chloor, sulfurylchloride, N-chloorsuccinimide 30 of N-chloorftalimide worden gebruikt en voor het bromeren broom, sulfurylhromide, N-broomsuccinimide of N-broomftali-mide. De hoeveelheid halogeneringsmiddel is bij voorkeur ongeveer equimolekulair ten opzichte van de verbinding met de formule 4 of 5. Hoewel de reaktieomstandigheden kunnen 35 variëren afhankelijk van de aard van het gebruikte haloge- 8302151 if >- 5 neringsmiddel, wordt de reaktie gewoonlijk uitgevoerd bij een temperatuur van 10° C tot de refluxtemperatuur van het oplosmiddel gedurende ongeveer 3Q minuten tot 10 uren.
Voor het bereiden van een verbinding met de 5 formule 6a waarin Xj en X^a dezelfde halogeenatomen voor stellen, wordt de dihalogenering in ëën stap uitgevoerd door rechtstreekse halogenering van butaan-2,3-dion met de formule 4 waarbij het halogeneringsmiddel in een hoeveelheid van ongeveer 2 mol per mol butaan-2,3-dion wordt gebruikt. De 10 reaktieomstandigheden in dat geval zijn dezelfde als boven aangegeven.
Bij voorkeur wordt butaan-2,3-dion met de formule 4 eerst gechloreerd met sulfurylchloride onder vorming van een verbinding met de formule 5 waarin Xj een chlooratoom 15 voorstelt, welke laatste verbinding vervolgens wordt gebro- meerd met broom tot een verbinding met de formule 6a waarin X0 een broomatoom voorstelt.

De daarop volgende ringsluitingsreaktie van het 1.4- dihalogeenbutaan-2,3-dion, bij voorkeur 1-broom-4-chloor- 20 butaan-2,3-dion, met een thioureum met de formule 7 wordt uitgevoerd in een inert oplosmiddel bijvoorbeeld een alkohol zoals methanol, ethanol of isopropanol, een ether zoals tetrahydrofuran of dioxan, een amide zoals N,N-dimethyl-formamide, N,N-dimethylaceetamide of hexamethylfosforamide, 25 een mengsel daarvan of een mengsel van een van de voornoemde oplosmiddelen en water. De hoeveelheid waarin het thioureum met de formule 7 wordt gebruikt, kan ten minste 0,9 mol per mol verbinding met de formule 6a bedragen en bedraagt bij voorkeur 0,95-1,00 mol per mol verbinding met de formule 6a.
30 De temperatuur voor de ringsluitingsreaktie bedraagt in het algemeen ongeveer -50 tot 10° C en de reaktieduur gewoonlijk ongeveer 5 minuten tot 20 uren.
De uitvinding heeft verder betrekking op een 1.4- dihalogeenhutaan-2,3-dion met de formule 6 waarin X^ 35 en verschillende halogeenatomen voorstellen en de zouten 8302151 - c 6 daarvan, en op een 2-aminothiazool met de formule 8 waarin Rj de Boven aangegeven betekenis Beeft en een monohalogeen-methylgroep, alkyltBiocarbonylgroep of aralkylthiocarhonyl-groep voorstelt en de zouten daarvan. Deze verbindingen en 5 Bun zouten zijn nieuw. Zij kunnen worden gebruikt als tussen- produkten bij de werkwijze volgens de uitvinding voor Bet bereiden van 2-(2-aminoth i az oo1-4-y1)glyoxy1zuur en de zouten daarvan.
De uitvinding Beeft voorts betrekking op een 10 werkwijze voor Bet bereiden van een 1,4-dihalogeenbutaan-2,3- dion met de formule 6 en de zouten daarvan door halogenering van butaan-2,3-dion met dé formule 4 en halogenering van daarbij gevormd l-halogeenbutaan-2,3-dion met de formule 5.
Tenslotte heeft de uitvinding betrekking op 15 een werkwijze voor het bereiden van een 2-aminothiazool met de formule 8 door reaktie van een 1,4-dihalogeenbutaan-2,3-dion met de formule 6a met een thioureum met de formule 7 voor het bereiden van een 2-aminothiazool met de formule 8 waarin R^ een monohalogeenmethylgroep voorstelt, en reaktie 20 daarvan met een dialkylsulfoxyde of diaralkylsulfoxyde voor het bereiden van een 2-aminothiazool met de formule 8 waarin R^ een alkylthiocarbonylgroep of aralkylthiocarbonylgroep voorstelt en de zouten daarvan.
De verbinding met de formule 8 en de zouten 25 daarvan omvatten de verbindingen met de formule 2 en 3 en de zouten daarvan.
Voorbeelden van monohalogeenmethylgroepen R^ zijn chloormethyl, broommethyl en joodmethyl; van alkylthio-carbonylgroepen R^ methylthiocarbonyl, ethylthiocarbonyl 30 en n-propylthiocarbonyl; en van aralkylthiocarbonylgrtoepen R^ benzylthiocarbonyl.
Voorkeursverbindingen met de formule 8 zijn die waarin Rj een vrije aminogroep of formylaminogroep en R^ een chloormethylgroep of methylthiocarhonylgroep voor-35 stellen.

De Z-raminothiazoolgroep met de formule 9 in de verbindingen met de formule 1,2, 3 en 8 kan in de vorm van zijn tautomeer met de formule 10 waarin Rja een al dan niet beschermde iminogroep voorstelt, verkeren, 5 volgens de op het formuleblad weergegeven evenwichtsverge- lijking. Geschikte beschermende groepen voor de iminogroep R. zijn dezelfde als boven aangegeven voor de aminogroep 1 Si v 10
Voorbeeld I * (1) Aan een oplossing van 172 g butaan-2,3-dion in 172 ml benzeen werd 163 ml sulfurylchloride in 15 3 uren toegedruppeld onder roeren bij 60° C. Toen alles was toegevoegd werd het mengsel eerst 1 uur bij 60° C en daarna 1 uur onder refluxen geroerd. Het reaktiemengsel werd onder verminderde druk gedestilleerd waarbij 124 g (51,5 % opbrengst) l-chloorbutaan-2,3-dion met een kookpunt 20 van 53,5-55,0° C/14 mm kwik werd verkregen.
IR (puur) cm *: HMR (CDC13), $ : 25 2,45 (3H, s, -jjC^), 0 4,71 (2H, s, C1CH2C-) 41 0 30 (2) Aan een oplossing van 120,5 g 1-chloor-butaan-2,3-dion in 120 ml dichloorethaan werd 160 g broom in 2 uren onder roeren en refluxen toegedruppeld. Toen alles was toegevoegd werd het mengsel nog 30 minuten onder 35 refluxen geroerd en daarna afgekoeld tot 20° C. De gepreci- 8302151 8 piteerde kristallen werden door filtreren verzameld, gewassen met dichloorethaan en gedroogd waarbij. 109 g (54,6 % opbrengst) l-broom-4-chloorbutaan-2,3-dion met een smeltpunt van '120-121,5° C werd verkregen.
5 IR (KBr) cm"1: V£=Q1760, 1735 NMR (CD30D), 5 : 3,70 (1H, s), 3,83 (1H, s), 4,63 (1H, s), 10 4,81 (lïï, s) (3) Een suspensie van 20,0 g 1-broom-4-chloor-butaan-2,3-dion in 140 ml ethanol werd gekoeld tot -35° C en 7,3 g thioureum werd onder roeren toegevoegd. De oplossing 15 werd 4 uren bij -35° C geroerd waarna men de temperatuur liet oplopen tot -20° C en de oplossing nog 2 uren bij deze temperatuur roerde. Na afloop liet men de temperatuur in 1,5 uren oplopen tot 10° C waarbij witte kristallen precipiteerden. De kristallen werden door filtreren verzameld, 20 gewassen met ethanol en gedroogd waarbij 24,9 g (81,8 % op brengst) van een 1:1 solvaat van het hydrobromidezout van 2-amino-4-chlooracetylthiazool en ethanol met een smeltpunt van 191° C (ontleding) werd verkregen.

Voorbeeld II
Een mengsel van 30,4 g 1:1 solvaat van het hydrobromidezout van 2-amino-4-chlooracetylthiazool en 5 ethanol, 91 ml dimethylsulfoxyde en 11,9 g kaliumbromide werd onder roeren verwarmd tot 30° C waarna 8,9 ml dimethyl-disulfoxyde werd toegevoegd. Het mengsel werd nog 2 uren hij 30-35° C geroerd waarna het in 300 ml ijswater werd uitgeschonken. De pH werd met natriumwaterstofcarbonaat op 10 5,5 ingesteld waarbij zich een neerslag vormde. Het neerslag werd door filtreren verzameld en opgelost in 80 ml 1 N zoutzuur. Een kleine hoeveelheid onoplosbaar materiaal werd door filtreren verwijderd en het filtraat werd met natriumwaterstofcarbonaat weer op 5,5 ingesteld. De kris-15 tallen werden door filtreren verzameld, gewassen met water en gedroogd waarbij 11,7 g (61,4 % opbrengst) 2-(2-amino-thiazool-4-yl)thioglyoxylzuur S-methylester met een smeltpunt van 130° C (ontleding) werd verkregen.

Voorbeeld III 30
Aan 10,1 g 2-(2-aminothiazool-4-yl)thioglyoxyl-zuur S-methylester in 80 ml water werd 10,6 g natriumcarbonaat toegevoegd onder koelen met ijs. Het mengsel werd bij dezelfde temperatuur 1 uur geroerd waarna de pH met 6 N zout-35 zuur eveneens bij dezelfde temperatuur op 2,5 werd ingesteld.

De geprecipiteerde kristallen werden door filtreren verzameld, gewassen met water en gedroogd waarbij 6,2 g (67,8 % opbrengst) 2-(2-aminothiazool-4-yl)glyoxylzuur met een smeltpunt van meer dan 200° C werd verkregen.

Voorbeeld IV
15 Een mengsel van 40,8 g azijnzuuranhydride en 18,4 g mierezuur werd 1 uur bij 40-45° C geroerd waarna 20,2 g 2-(2-aminothiazool-4-yl)thioglyoxylzuur S-methyl-ester werd toegevoegd onder koelen met water. Het mengsel werd 1 uur bij 25° C geroerd waarna 160 ml water werd 20 toegedruppeld.. Na nog 30 minuten roeren onder koelen met water werden de gevormde kristallen door filtreren verzameld, gewassen met achtereenvolgens water en aceton en gedroogd waarbij 21,9 g (94,4 % opbrengst) 2—(2—formylamino-thiazool-4-yl)thioglyoxylzuur S-methylester met een'smeltpunt 25 van meer dan 230° C werd verkregen.

Voorbeeld V 30
Aan een suspensie van 7,8 g 1:1 solvaat van het hydrobromidezout van 2-amino-4-chlooracetylthiazool en ethanol in 5Q ml water werd 2,3 g natriumwaterstofcarbonaat in 15 minuten bij 20° C toegevoegd. De gevormde kristallen 35 werden door filtreren verzameld, gewassen met 10 ml water 8302151 r © 11 en gedroogd waarbij 4,5 g (98,8 % opbrengst) 2-amino-4-chloor-acetylthiazool met een smeltpunt van 147° C (ontleding) werd verkregen.

Voorbeeld VI 15 (1) Aan een suspensie van 23 g 2-(2-formyl-aminothiazool-4-yl)th.ioglyoxylzuur S-methylester in 200 ml water werd 125 ml van een 2 N waterige natriumhydroxyde-oplossing in 30 minuten toegedruppeld onder koelen met water.
20 Het mengsel werd 1 uur bij kamertemperatuur geroerd. Na afloop van de reaktie werd de pH met 6 N zoutzuur op 2,5 ingesteld. De gevormde kristallen werden door filtreren verzameld, gewassen met achtereenvolgens water en aceton en gedroogd waarbij 16,2 g (81,6 % opbrengst) 2-(2-formylamino-25 thiazool-4-yl)glyoxylzuur met een smeltpunt van meer dan 210° C werd verkregen.

Claims (12)
1. Werkwijze voor liet bereiden van 2-(2-amino-thiazool-4-yl)glyoxylzuur met de formule 1 op bet formuleblad waarin Rj een al dan niet beschermde aminogroep voorstelt of een zout daarvan, met het kenmerk dat, een verbin-5 ding met de formule 2 waarin Xj een halogeenatoom voorstelt en Rj de boven aangegeven betekenis heeft of een zout daarvan tot reaktie wordt gebracht met een dialkylsulfoxyde of diaralkylsulfoxyde en de gevormde verbinding met de formule 3 waarin R£ een alkyl- of aralkylgroep voorstelt en R} de 10 boven aangegeven betekenis heeft of een zout daarvan wordt gehydrolyseerd.
2. Werkwij ze volgens conclusie 1, met het kenmerk dat, Xj in de formule 2 een chlooratoom voorstelt.
3. Werkwijze volgens conclusie 1 of 2, met het kenmerk dat, Rj in de formule 1, 2 en/of 3 een formyl-aminogroep voorstelt.
4. Werkwijze volgens conclusie 1, met het kenmerk dat, als dialkylsulfoxyde dimethylsulfoxyde 20 wordt gebruikt.

Werkwijze volgens conclusie 1, met het kenmerk dat, de reaktie met het dialkylsulfoxyde of diaralkylsulfoxyde wordt uitgevoerd bij een temperatuur van 10-80° C. 25 6. 2-Aminothiazoolderivaat, gekenmerkt door de formule 8 op het formuleblad waarin Rj een al dan niet beschermde aminogroep en R^ een monohalogeenmethyl-, alkyl-thiocarbonyl- of aralkylthiocarbonylgroep voorstellen of een zout daarvan. 30 7. 2-Aminothiazoolderivaat of een zout daarvan 8302151 ε # -V volgens conclusie 6, met h.et kenmerk dat, R^ in de formule 8 een monohalogeenmethylgroep voorstelt. 8. 2-Aminothiazoolderivaat of een zout daarvan volgens conclusie 7, met liet kenmerk, dat, R^ in de formule 8 5 een chloormethylgroep voorstelt. 9. 2-Aminothiazoolderivaat of een zout daarvan volgens conclusies 6-8, met het kenmerk dat, R^ in de formule 8 een aminogroep voorstelt. 10. 2-Aminothiazoolderivaat of een zout daarvan 10 volgens conclusie 6, met het kenmerk dat, R^ in de formule 8 een alkylthiocarbonylgroep voorstelt. 11. 2-Aminothiazoolderivaat of een zout daarvan volgens conclusie 10, met het kenmerk dat., R^ in de formule 8 een methylthiocarbonylgroep voorstelt. 15 12. 2-Aminothiazoolderivaat of een zout daarvan volgens conclusie 10 of 11, met het kenmerk dat, Rj in de formule 8 een aminogroep voorstelt. 13. 2-Aminothiazoolderivaat of een zout daarvan volgens conclusie 6, 10 of 11, met het kenmerk dat,
20 Rj in de formule 8 een formylaminogroep voorstelt. 14. 1,4-Dihalogeenbutaan-2,3-dion gekenmerkt door de formule 6 op het formuleblad waarin Xj en elk een verschillend halogeenatoom voorstellen. 15. 1,4-Dihalogeenbutaan-2,3-dion volgens 25 conclusie 14, met het kenmerk dat, in de formule 6 Xj een chlooratoom en een broomatoom voorstellen.
16. Werkwijze voor het bereiden van een 2-aminothiazoolderivaat, met het kenmerk dat, een 2-amino-thiazoolderivaat met de formule 8 waarin Rj een al dan niet 30 beschermde aminogroep en R^ een monohalogeenmethyl-, alkyl- thiocarbonyl- of aralkylthiocarbonylgroep voorstellen of een zout daarvan wordt bereid door reaktie van een 1,4-di-halogeenhutaan-2,3-dion met de formule 6a waarin X} en die gelijk of verschillend kunnen zijn, elk een halogeen-35 atoom, voorstellen, met een thioureum met de formule 7 waarin 830 2 1 5 1. T . Ρ 15 Rj een al dan niet beschermde aminogroep voorstelt, en desgewenst reaktie van het gevormde produkt met een dialkyl-sulfoxyde of diaralkylsulfoxyde.
17. Werkwijze volgens conclusie 16, 5 met het kenmerk dat, de reaktie van het 1,4-dihalogeenbutaan- 2,3-dion met het thioureum wordt uitgevoerd bij een temperatuur tussen -5Q en 10° C.
18. Werkwijze voor het bereiden van een 1,4-dihalogeenhutaan-2,3-dion, met het kenmerk dat, een 1,4- 10 dihalogeenbutaan-2,3-dion met de formule 6 waarin X^ en X^ elk een verschillend halogeenatoom voorstellen, wordt bereid door halogenering van butaan-2,3-dion gevolgd door halogener ing van de gevormde verbinding met de formule 5 waarin Xj de boven aangegeven betekenis heeft.
19. Werkwijze volgens conclusie 18, met het kenmerk dat, in de formule 6 Xj een chlooratoom en X^ een broomatoom voorstellen.
20. Werkwijze volgens conclusie 18, met het kenmerk dat, de halogenering wordt uitgevoerd bij 20 10° C tot de refluxtemperatuur van het oplosmiddel.
