Abstract

Una composicion de catalizador que comprende un complejo de oxidos cataliticos de hierro, bismuto, molibdeno, cobalto, cerio, antimonio, al menos uno de niquel y magnesio y al menos uno de litio, sodio, potasio, rubidio o talio y caracterizado por la siguiente formula empirica: AaBbCcFedBieCofCegSbhMomOx; en donde A es al menos uno de Cr, P, Sn, Te, B, Ge, Z n , In, Mn, Ca, W, o mezclas de los mismos, B es al menos uno de Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, T1, o mezclas de los mismos, C es al menos uno de Ni, Mg o mezclas de los mismos, a es de 0 hasta 4.0, b es de 0.01 hasta 1.5, c es de 1.0 hasta 10.0, d es de 0.1 hasta 5.0, e es de 0.1 hasta 2.0, f es de 0.1 hasta 10.0, g es de 0.1 hasta 2.0, h es de 0.1 hasta 2.0, m es de 12.0 hasta 18.0, y x es un numero determinado por los requerimientos de Valencia de los otros elementos presentes. El catalizador es util en procesos para la amoxidacion de una olefina seleccionada del grupo que consiste de propileno, e isobutileno o mezclas de los mismos hacia acrilonitrilo, metacrilonitrilo y mezclas de los mismos respectivamente.
