Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un elastomero PU microcelular con mejores características mecánicas-dinámicas, a base de un componente que contiene esencialmente 4,4'-mdi y otros componentes estándar. El elastomero en cuestion tiene una estructura fisicoquímica caracterizada pro una señal de uno o dos picos proxima a la señal principal molecular baja para una masa molar (aparente) mayor de 25,000 q/mol medida por cromatografía de permeacion en gel a partir de una solucion del elastomero PO microcelular producido a 90 degree C en N,N-dimetilformamida con 1% de di-n-butilamina, contra metacrilato de polimetilo (PMMA) como el estándar, siendo la señal reducida o eliminada después de la adicion de cloruro de litio a esta solucion. El elastomero tiene un contenido de urea de 14-10% en peso. También se describe un proceso para producir este elastomero PU microcelular con mejores características mecánicas-dinámicas y el uso de este elastomero para producir elementos amortiguadores.
