El arreglo de impulsión para un vehículo automotor se compone de un motor de combustión interna con por lo menos un elemento de regulación controlado por un mando de regulación que influye en el número de revoluciones por minuto y el par motor del motor de combustión, un arreglo de generador eléctrico que recibe su impulsión del motor de combustión, por lo menos un motor eléctrico que se alimenta del arreglo de generador y que da motricidad al vehículo y un dispositivo electrónico de control el cual controla por una parte el mando de regulación y por otra parte la potencia eléctrica producida por el generador y/o la potencia tomada por el motor eléctrico en dependencia de la posición de un pedal de manejo.
