Abstract

Se divulga un miembro resistente a la corrosión en el cual una película de recubrimiento de óxido complejo de titanio para reducir la corrosión se forma sobre la superficie de un material constituyente. La película de recubrimiento de óxido complejo de titanio se representa por la siguiente fórmula molecular: MTiO3, en donde M representa un elemento de transición. El miembro resistente a la corrosión se produce mediante un proceso en donde el óxido de titanio se adhiere a la superficie del material constituyente, y luego o simultáneamente, el material constituyente se somete a un tratamiento de alta temperatura en la presencia de iones del elemento de transición.
