Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a equipos y métodos de examen de recién nacidos, y se proporcionan normas internas estables isotópicamente marcadas o solución de norma interna para el examen y análisis de alto rendimiento de trastornos metabólicos usando cromatografía líquidaespectrometría de masa (LC-MS). Los trastornos metabólicos pueden ser trastornos de oxidación de ácidos grasos, ácidos orgánicos o aminoácidos, y particularmente trastornos o deficiencias del ciclo de urea, hiperamonemia, hiperornitinemia-hiperamonemia-homocitrulinuria (HHH), y/o aciduria argininosuccínica. Los equipos de examen de recién nacidos, métodos, normas internas estables isotópicamente marcadas o solución de norma interna son particularmente útiles para examen de recién nacidos (NBS) de trastornos metabólicos.
