Abstract

Se describe un sistema de capa de PVD para recubrir objetos, que comprende por lo menos una capa de cristal mezclado de un polióxido con la siguiente composición: (Me11-xMe2x)2O3, donde Me1 y Me2 cada uno representan por lo menos uno de los elementos Al, Cr, Fe, Li, Mg, Mn Nb, Ti, Sb o V. Los elementos de Me1 y Me2 son diferentes entre sí. La retícula cristalina de la capa de cristal mezclado en el sistema de capa de PVD, tiene una estructura de corindón que es caracterizada por al menos tres de las líneas asociadas a la estructura de corindón en un espectro de la capa de cristal mezclado, medido por difractrometría de rayos X. También se describe un método de recubrimiento al vacío para producir una capa de cristal mezclado de un polióxido y por consiguiente herramientas y componentes recubiertos.
