Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un metodo para producir una tira de acero colado, preferentemente de una calidad de acero sensible a la formacion de fracturas por calentamiento o de una calidad de acero que se hace quebradiza con la aplicacion de calor, por medio de una fabrica de colada de una tira que es utilizada para llevar a cabo el metodo. El metodo inventivo consiste en guiar el acero fundido hacia una camara de metal fundido (5) formada por dos rodillos de colada (2, 3) y dos placas laterales (4), en conformar placas curvas troqueladas en basto (9, 10) unidas por la formacion de una tira de acero solidificada al menos parcialmente al nivel de la seccion transversal conformadora de la tira (8) colocada entre los rodillos de colado en la camara para el metal fundido sobre las superficies laterales refrigeradas (6, 7) de los rodillos de colada, en dirigir la tira de acero colado a lo largo de la superficie lateral (7) de uno de los rodillos de colada (3) desde una direccion de colada vertical hasta una direccion de transporte substancialmente horizontal, en transferir la tira de acero colado de una manera substancialmente horizontal hasta el dispositivo de transporte (14) de un dispositivo de enrollado de la tira (34) y en enrollar la tira sobre una carrete. Para minimizar la sensibilidad a la formacion de fracturas, la tira de acero colado es guiada hasta un canal de transporte (13) de tal manera que las fuerzas de deformacion que afectan el espesor de la tira no sean aplicadas durante el desplazamiento de la misma a lo largo de la superficie lateral del rodillo de colada y sea expuesta a un enfriamiento menor que 200 K/s en dicha area.
