Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un catalizador de niquel y/o cobalto promovido, careacterizado en que contiene de 4 a 40,de preferencia de 5 a 20 por peso de níquel y/o cobalto, y de 0.1 a 5por peso de rutenio sobre un soporte de óxigeno de metal poroso, y que es obtenido por a.impregnar el soporte revestido con níquel y/o cobalto presentes como metales u óxidos con una solución de un compuesto de haluro de rutenio, y b.Secar el catalizador intermedio,reduciendo el compuesto de haluro de rutenio a temperatura elevada en una corriente de gas de hidrógeno a metal de rutenio, y,sí es necesario,reducir finalmente los óxidos de níquel/cobalto en gas de hidrógeno a un métal de níquel/cobalto finamente dividido.
