Claims (13)

  1. 하기 화학식 (1)의 화합물 :
    상기에서, A 및 B 고리는 각각 독립적으로 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌 또는 1,4-페닐렌(임의로는 플루오르로 일치환 또는 다치환됨)을 의미하거나, 또는 A와 B 고리중 하나는 또한 트랜스-1,3-디옥산-5,2-디일, 피리딘-5,2-디일 또는 피리미딘-5,2-디일을 의미하고, Z1,Z2는 단일결합을 의미하거나, 또는 Z1과 Z2기 중 하나는 또한-(CH2)2-,-CH2O-, -COO- 또는 -C≡C-를 의미하고, X1및 X2는 각각 독립적으로 수소 또는 플루오르를 의미하고, Y는 플루오르, 염소, 시아노, -OCHF2, -CHF2,-OCF3또는 -CF3을의미하고, m은 정수 0 내지 7을 의미하고,n은 0을 의미하거나, 또는 A가 방향족 고리인 경우에는 1을 의미하고, p는 0 또는 1을 의미한다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, A 고리가 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌, 1,4-페닐렌(임의로는 플루오르로 일치환 또는 다치환됨), 트랜스-1,3-디옥산-5,2-디일, 피리딘-5,2-디일 또는 피리미딘-5,2-디일을 의미하고; B 고리가 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌 또는 1,4-페닐렌(임의로는 플로오르로 일치환 또는 다치환됨)을 의미하는 화합물.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, p 가 1인 화합물.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 하기 화학식 (1a) 내지 화학식 (1e)의 화합물 :
    상기에서 Z11,Z21는 단일결합 또는 -(CH2)2-를 의미하고, X3및 X4는 각각 독립적으로 수소 또는 플로오르를 의미하고, m, Y, X1및 X2는 제1항에 주어진 의미를 갖는다.

  7. 제1항, 제2항 및 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 하기 화학식 (1f) 내지 화학식 (1h)의 화합물 :
    상기에서 , m은 정수 0 내지 7이고, n은 0 또는 1이고, X3및 X4는 각각 독립적으로 수소 또는 플로오르를 의미하고, Z12는 단일결합, -COO 또는 -C≡C-를 의미하고, Z13는 단일결합, -(CH2)2-,-CH2O- 또는 -COO-를 의미하고, Y, X1및 X2는 제1항에 주어진 의미를 갖는다.
  8. 하기 화학식 (1i)의 화합물:
    상기에서, m 및 X2는 제1항에 주어진 의미를 갖는다.
  9. 하나 이상의 성분이 제1항에 정의 된 화학식 (1)의 화합물인, 둘 이상의 성분을 갖는 액정 혼합물.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 화학식 (1)의 화합물 함량이 1 내지 40중량%인 액정 혼합물.
  11. 제1항에 따른 화학식 (1)의 혼합물의 전자-광학 장치에서의 용도.
  12. 제9항 또는 제10에 따른 액정 혼합물의 전자-광학 장치에서의 용도.
  13. 제9항에 따른 액정 혼합물을 함유하는 전자-광학 표시장치.
