Abstract

본 발명은 혼화성 PPE 및 나프탈레이트형 폴리에스테르 수지를 포함하고, 상기 폴리에스테르가 상당 비율의 나프탈레이트 잔기를 함유하지 않는 상응하는 블렌드보다 약 15℃이상 더 높은 온도에서 탄성률 강하가 발생되는 조성물에 관한 것이다. 향상된 물성을 갖는 조성물을 제공하기 위해서 조성물은 충격 개질제, 보강제, 충전재, 안정화제, 대전방지제, 가소제, 윤활제 및 기타 첨가제를 또한 포함할 수 있다. 상기 조성물로부터 성형된 제품은 자동차 산업에서 유용하다.

폴리(페닐렌 에테르)수지 및 나프탈레이트 폴리에스테르 수지의 조성물

Claims (15)

  1. (a) 폴리(페닐렌 에테르)수지; 및 (b) 하기 일반식의 폴리에스테르 수지를 포함하는 조성물:
    상기 식에서, R1은 각각 독립적으로 2가 지방족, 지환족 또는 방향족 탄화수소, 폴리옥시알킬렌 라디칼 또는 이들의 혼합물이고; A1은 각각 독립적으로 2가 지방족, 지환족 또는 방향족 라디칼, 또는 이들의 혼합물이나, 단 A1잔기의 상당 비율은 나프탈레이트 라디칼이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 폴리(페닐렌 에테르)수지가 혼화성 폴리(페닐렌 에테르)수지를 포함하는 조성물.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르 수지가 중합체의 유리전이온도 및 융점을 A1이 나프탈레이트 라디칼이 아닌 동일한 중합체의 유리전이온도 및 융점보다 증가시키기에 충분한 양의 나프탈레이트 라디칼을 포함하는 조성물.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르 수지에서, A1라디칼의 50몰% 이상이 나프탈레이트 라디칼인 조성물.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르 수지에서, A1라디칼의 75몰% 이상이 나프탈레이트 라디칼인 조성물.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르 수지에서, A1라디칼의 90몰% 이상이 나프탈레이트 라디칼인 조성물.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르 수지가 폴리(알킬렌 나프탈레이트)수지인 조성물.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르 수지가 폴리(1,2-에틸렌-2,6-나프탈레이트)수지, 폴리(1,4-부틸렌-2,6-나프탈레이트)수지, 폴리(1,4-사이클로헥산디메탄올 -2,6-나프탈레이트)수지 또는 그의 혼합물인 조성물.
  9. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 혼화성 폴리(페닐렌 에테르)수지가 에폭시 잔기, 오르토에스테르 잔기, 또는 에폭시 잔기 및 오르토에스테르 잔기의 혼합물을 포함하는 조성물.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 폴리에스테르가 상당 비율이 나프탈레이트 잔기를 함유하지 않는 상응하는 블렌드보다 약 15℃이상 더 높은 온도에서 탄성률 강하가 발생되는 조성물.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 폴리에스테르가 상당 비율의 나프탈레이트 잔기를 함유하지 않는 상응하는 블렌드보다 약 25℃이상 더 높은 온도에서 탄성률 강하가 발생되는 조성물.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 충격개질제, 산화방지제, 방염제, 적하방지제, 결정화액 형성제, 염료, 안료 착색제, 보강제, 충전재, 안정화제, 대전방지제, 가소제 및 윤활제로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 추가 성분을 또한 포함하는 조성물.
  13. 제1항에 있어서, 조성물의 총중량을 기준으로, 폴리(페닐렌 에테르)수지가 약 1중량% 내지 99중량%로 존재하고 폴리에스테르 수지가 약 99중량% 내지 약 1중량%로 존재하는 조성물.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르 수지가 연속상으로서 존재하는 조성물.
  15. (a) 폴리(페닐렌 에스테르)수지; (b) 하기 일반식의 폴리에스테르 수지; 및 (c) 임의로, 충격재질제, 산화방지제, 방염제, 적하방지제, 결정화핵형성제, 염료, 안료, 착색제, 보강제, 충전재, 안정화제, 대전방지제, 가소제 및 윤활제로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 추가 성분으로 필수적으로 구성된 조성물:
    상기 식에서, R1은 각각 독립적으로 2가 지방족, 지환족 또는 방향족 탄화수소, 폴리옥시알킬렌 라디칼 또는 이들의 혼합물이고; A1은 각각 독립적으로 2가 지방족, 지환족 또는 방향족 라디칼, 또는 이들의 혼합물이나, 단 A1잔기의 상당 비율은 나프탈레이트 라디칼이다.
