졸-겔법에 의한 희토류원소도우프글래스의 제조방법

제1도는 겔의 pH값과 벌크밀도사이의 관계를 도시한 그래프, 제2도는 실시예3에서 생성된 EY도우프글래스와 순수 SiO2글래스에 대한 라만스펙트럼, 제3도는 실시예5에서 EY장입량과 도우프량사이의 관계를 도시한 그래프.

Claims (9)

  1. 일반식 M(OR)4(식중, M은 금속, R은 알킬기이다)로 표현된 금속알콜시들을 희토류원소화합물의 존재하에 알콜 및 물로 이루어지는 군에 선택된 액상 매체에서 가수분해하고, 가수분해된 물질을 축합하여 희토류원소도우프글래스를 형성하는 것으로 이루어진 희토류원소도우프 글래스의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 금속알콕시드는 Si(OR)4, Ge(OR)4, Al(OR)3, Ti(OR)4, 및 B(OR)3으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택된 적어도 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 희토류원소도우프글래스의 제조방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 희토류 원소의 화합물은 글래스에서 레이저를 발생시키는 탄탄계원소의 화합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 희토류원소도우프글래스의 제조방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 금속알콕시드는 Si(OR)4이고, 적어도 하나의 다른 금속알콕시드를 상기 희토류원소의 화합물과 미리 혼합하고 가수분해한 다음 Si(OR)4의 가수분해를 위한 반응혼합물에 첨가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 희토류원소도우프글래스의 제조방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 다른 금속알콕시드는 Ge(OR)4, Al(OR)3, P(OR)5및 B(OR)3으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택된 적어도 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 희토류원소도우프글래스의 제조방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 금속알콕시들을 pH6∼9에서 가수분해하는 것을 특징으로 하는 희토류원소도우프글래스의 제조방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, pH를 암모니아수로 조정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 희토륨원소도우프글래스의 제조방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 금속알콕시드의 가수분해로 얻은 겔을 60∼200℃에서 건조하고 건조된 겔을 염소를 함유하는 분위기에서 탈수하고, 헬륨분위기 또는 진공하에 겔을 가열하여 유리질화하는 것으로 이루어진것을 특징으로 하는 희토류원소도우프글래스의 제조방법.
  9. 제1항의 방법으로 제조된 도우프글래스로 만들어진 광학장치.
