제2도는 제1도에서와 같은 조건하에서 형성한 수직 자기 이방성 필름에 있어 수직 항자력(HCT)과 Co의 비(원자비 X)와의 상호관계를 나타내는 그래프임:
제3도는 제1도에서와 같은 조건하에서 형성한 수직 자기 이방성 필름에 있어 수직 이방성 자기장(Hk)과 Co의 비(원자비 X)와의 상호 관계를 나타낸 그래프임:

Claims (6)

  1. 수직 자기 이방성 필름이 다음 일반식으로 표시되는 조성을 갖는 금속의 아산화물 필름이며, 그리고 필름면에 수직인 용이 자화축을 지니고 있고, 또한 X-선 회절 스펙트럼으로 관측한 결과 산화된 Fe에 의해 야기되는 회절된 X-선 강도의 피크와 금속상태의 Fe와 Co 및 금속 M에 의해 야기되는 회절된 X-선 강도의 피크 모두를 지님을 특징으로 하는, 기질 그리고 기질상에 형성된 수직 자기 이방성 필름으로 이루어진 수직 자기기록 매체:
    [(Fe1-xCOx)1-yMy]1-zOz
    (위의 일반식에서 X는 0.01X0.75의 범위이고, Y는 0Y0.30의 범위이며, M은 Fe와 Co를 배제한 최소한 한 종류의 금속을 의미한다.)
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 80% 이상의 Co가 금속상태로 잔류하며 30% 이상의 Fe가 FeO 상태인 수직 자기 기록매체.
  3. 제1항 내지 2항중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 금속 M이 al, Cr, Mo, Ti 및 Zr로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택된 최소한 한 종류의 금속인 매체.
  4. 제1항 내지 3항중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 포화자화 값이 350[emu/㎤]이상인 매체.
  5. 제1항 내지 4제항중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 수직 자기 이방성 필름이 rf-스퍼터링법이나 rf-마그네트론 스퍼터링법으로써 형성한 필름인 매체.
  6. 제1항 내지 5항중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 유연성 자기층이 기질과 수직 자기 이방성 필름과의 사이에 형성된 매체.
