Claims (14)
- 침탄 등급의 강으로 만들어진 강부품상의 10-30% 오스테나 이트를 포함하는 표면 경화 표면을 형성하는 방법으로서, 상기 오스테나이트를 적어도 5-20%의 템퍼되지 않은 마르텐 사이트로 변환시키기 위해 상기 표면을 가공경화하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 강부품의 표면 경화 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 기계가공 작업들을 포함하는 상기 표면에 대한 모든 금속제거 작업들이 상기 침탄단계전에 완료되는 상기 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 침단 단계가 1550-1740˚F의 온도에서 수행되는 상기 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 침단 단계가 3-6시간동안 수행되고, 그리하여 상기 탄소농도가 적어도 만분의일인치의 표면 깊이에 도달하는 상기 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 급냉단계가, 상기부품이 적어도 1500˚F의 온도에 있을 때 수행되고, 상기 부품이 5분간, 80-130˚F온도를 갖는 오일내에 유지되는 상기 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 템퍼링 단계가 1-1½시간동안 300-400˚F의 온도에서 수행되는 상기 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 가공 경화 단계가 쇼우트 피닝에 의해 달성되는 상기 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 쇼우트 피닝 단계가 칠드 강 쇼우트로 수행되는 상기 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 급냉 단계가 템퍼되지 않은 마르텐사이트 70-90%와 보유 오스테나이트 10-30%의 표면 경화된 표면의 조성을 형성하는 상기 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 가공 경화 단계 후, 상기 표면 경화된 표면이 만분의일인치까지의 깊이에 70-90의 템퍼된 마르텐사이트 조성 및 5-2%의 템퍼되지 않은 마프텐 사이트 조성을 포함하는 상기 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 표면 탄소 농도가 침탄 가스로에 의해 달성되고, 그로에서 흡열 캐리어 가스가 하이드로 카본 가스로 강화되어 상기 탄소 농도가 달성되는 상기 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 기계가공작업이 거친 회전단계와 최종 기계가공 단계를 포함하는 상기 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 표면 경화 표면이 16000-26000분의 1인체의 알멘 테스트 스트립 "A"아아크 놀이로 표시되는 크기의 경도를 가지는 상기 방법.
- 침탄 등급의 강으로 만들어진 강부품상에 표면 경화된 표면을 형성하는 방법에 있어서,(a) 상기 표면을 0.9-1.3범위의 표면 탄소 농도를 침탄하고, (b) 상기 표면 10-30%의 오스테나니트를 보유시키는 수단에 의해 오일내에서 상기 표면을 직접 급냉시키고, (c) 조절된 온도의 조절된 로 분위기내에서 상기 표면을 시간 템퍼링하고, (d) 상기 보유된 오스테나이트를 적어도 5-20%의 템퍼되지 않은 마프텐사이트로 변환시키고 표면 경화 표면내에 압축 응력을 발생시키기 위해 상기 표면을 가공 경화하는 단계들로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 강부분의 표면 경화 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
