Claims (4)
- 니플과 다이를 사용하여 열가소성 수지로 플라스틱 광섬유를 코팅하는 코팅 방법에 있어서, 니플은 다이에 형성된 개구부에 끼워 맞춰지고, 다이와 니플 사이에 형성된 수지 통로를 통하여 열가소성 수지를 흐르게 하고 니플에 형성된 광섬유 통로를 통과하는 플라스틱 광섬유 주위에 수지 통로를 통과하는 열가소성 수지를 코팅함에 의해 플라스틱 광섬유가 열가소성 수지로 코팅되는 코팅 방법으로서;TA(㎛) 는 다이의 직경, TB1(㎛) 는 니플의 외경, TB2(㎛) 는 니플의 내경, 그리고 D(㎛) 는 플라스틱 광섬유의 직경을 나타낼 때, 다이와 니플은20 (㎛) ≤ TA - TB1 ≤ 1500 (㎛)20 (㎛) ≤ TB2 - D ≤ 600 (㎛)400 (㎛) < TB1 - TB2 ≤ 1500 (㎛)을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유의 코팅 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 플라스틱 광섬유의 직경은 200 ~ 1500 ㎛ 이고, 플라스틱 광섬유 주위로 코팅된 상기 열가소성 수지의 두께는 100 ~ 500 ㎛ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 190 ℃ 의 용융온도에서 상기 열가소성 수지의 용융 유량 은 5 ~ 150 g/10min 인 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅 방법.
- 열가소성 수지로 플라스틱 광섬유를 코팅하는 코팅 장치로서;광섬유 통로가 형성된 니플 및 이 니플이 끼워지는 개구부가 형성되어 있는 다이를 포함해, 다이와 니플 사이에 형성된 수지 통로를 통하여 열가소성 수지를 흐르게 하고 니플에 형성된 광섬유 통로를 통과하는 플라스틱 광섬유 주위에 수지 통로를 통과하는 열가소성 수지를 코팅함에 의해 플라스틱 광섬유가 열가소성 수지로 코팅되며,TA(㎛) 는 다이의 직경, TB1(㎛) 는 니플의 외경, TB2(㎛) 는 니플의 내경, 그리고 D(㎛) 는 플라스틱 광섬유의 직경을 나타낼 때, 다이와 니플은20 (㎛) ≤ TA - TB1 ≤ 1500 (㎛)20 (㎛) ≤ TB2 - D ≤ 600 (㎛)400 (㎛) < TB1 - TB2 ≤ 1500 (㎛)을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유의 코팅 장치.
