Claims (11)
- 기판 위에 복수의 영역을 형성하기 위해 각 영역 사이를 분리하고, 측면부와 상면부로 이루어지며 친액성을 갖는 상기 영역을 둘러싸는 제 1 격벽과, 상기 제 1 격벽의 상면부의 적어도 일부에 형성되고 발액성을 갖는 제 2 격벽으로 이루어지는 격벽과,상기 격벽에 의해 둘러싸인 영역 내에 형성되는 적어도 발광층을 포함하는 기능층과,상기 기능층을 사이에 끼우는 한 쌍의 전극을 구비하는 전기 광학 장치로서,상기 제 1 격벽의 두께는 상기 기능층의 두께에 비하여 두껍고,상기 제 1 격벽의 상기 영역을 둘러싸는 측면부의 경사각은 상기 제 2 격벽의 상기 영역을 둘러싸는 측면부의 경사각보다도 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 격벽은 상기 제 1 격벽의 상면부 전체를 덮어 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 격벽은 상기 영역을 둘러싸는 측면부와 상면부로 이루어지는 친액성을 갖는 제 3 격벽과,상기 제 3 격벽의 상면부의 적어도 일부에 형성되고 친액성을 갖는 제 4 격벽으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 기능층은 상기 발광층의 하층으로서 형성되고, 상기 발광층에 의한 발광을 보조하는 보조층을 구비하며,상기 제 3 격벽의 두께는 상기 보조층의 두께에 비하여 두껍고,상기 제 2 격벽의 측면부의 경사각은 상기 제 3 격벽과 제 4 격벽의 측면부의 경사각보다도 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 기능층은 상기 발광층의 하층으로서 형성되고, 상기 발광층에 의한 발광을 보조하는 보조층을 구비하며,상기 제 3 격벽의 두께는 상기 보조층의 두께에 비하여 두껍고,상기 제 1 격벽의 두께는 상기 기능층의 두께에 비하여 두꺼운 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 3 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 제 3 격벽은 상기 제 4 격벽에 비하여 친액성이 높고, 상기 제 2 격벽은 상기 제 4 격벽에 비하여 발액성이 높은 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 영역은 다각형 형상을 가지며,상기 제 2 격벽 또는 제 3 격벽의 개구부에서의 수평면 방향의 단면 형상은 상기 영역의 코너부 부근이 둥그스름한 형상을 갖고,상기 제 3 격벽 또는 상기 제 4 격벽의 평탄부의 상기 영역의 코너부 부근 폭은 상기 영역의 코너부 부근 이외에서의 폭보다도 넓게 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 기판 위에 복수의 영역을 형성하기 위해 각 영역 사이를 분리하고, 상기 영역을 둘러싸는 측면부와 상면부로 이루어지며 친액성을 갖는 제 1 격벽과, 상기 제 1 격벽의 상면부의 적어도 일부에 형성되고 발액성을 갖는 제 2 격벽으로 이루어지는 격벽과,상기 격벽에 의해 둘러싸인 영역 내에 형성되는 적어도 발광층을 포함하는 기능층과,상기 기능층을 사이에 끼우는 한 쌍의 전극을 구비하는 전기 광학 장치로서,상기 제 1 격벽의 제 1 개구부가 상기 제 2 격벽의 제 2 개구부보다 넓게 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 격벽의 두께는 상기 기능층의 두께에 비하여 두껍고,상기 제 2 격벽의 상기 영역을 둘러싸는 측면부가 상기 기판 표면에 평행한 면과 이루는 각도는 수직 또는 둔각(鈍角)인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 기능층은 상기 발광층의 하층으로서 형성되고, 상기 발광층에 의한 발광을 보조하는 보조층을 구비하며,상기 제 1 격벽의 두께는 상기 보조층에 비하여 두껍고,상기 제 2 격벽의 하면부는 상기 제 1 격벽의 상면부보다도 상기 영역 측으로 돌출하여 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항, 또는 제 8 항 내지 제 10 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 전기 광학 장치를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 기기.
