Abstract
Description
Claims (31)
- 제 1 기판 측에 형성된 제 1 투명 전극과 제 2 기판 측에 형성된 제 2 투명 전극 사이에서 액정층을 삽입하여 이루어지는 액정 장치에 있어서,상기 제 2 기판에서의 상기 액정층측의 면에 형성되어, 적어도 상기 제 1 기판측으로부터 입사하는 광을 반사하는 반사막과,상기 제 2 기판에서의 상기 액정층측의 면에 형성됨과 동시에, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 투명 전극의 교차 영역에 대응한 개구 영역을 갖는 차광막과,상기 제 2 기판에서의 상기 액정층측의 면에 있고, 상기 차광막을 덮도록 형성된 착색층을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 차광막의 개구 영역내에 있고, 상기 반사막에 광을 투과하는 제 1 개구부를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 반사막과 제 2 기판에서의 상기 액정층측의 면 사이에 제 1 막을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 차광막은 흑색의 수지 재료로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 차광막은 상기 착색층이 2색 이상 적층되어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 차광막의 광학 농도는 0.5 이상 1.7 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 차광막의 개구 영역은,상기 제 1 및 제 2 투명 전극과의 교차 영역에 대하여, 해당 영역의 주변 가장자리로부터 상기 제 1 및 제 2 투명 전극 사이의 거리의 대략 절반까지를 한도로하여 해당 영역의 외측으로 확대하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 반사막의 표면을 적어도 덮는 제 2 막을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 투명 전극은, 밀착성을 높이는 제 3 막상에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 착색층을 덮도록 형성된 제 4 막과,상기 차광막의 개구 영역에 있고, 상기 착색층을 개구(開口)하는 제 2 개구부를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항 또는 제 8 항 또는 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 착색층을 덮도록 형성된 제 4 막을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 제 4 막은 광 산란성을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 제 4 막은 수지 재료 중에, 상기 수지 재료와는 굴절율이 다르고, 또한, 상기 제 4 막두께보다도 직경이 작은 입자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 반사막은 상기 제 2 기판에서의 상기 액정층측의 조면(粗面)에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 조면은, 상기 제 2 기판에서의 상기 액정층측의 면에 형성된 수지 재료의 표면인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 조면은 상기 제 2 기판에서의 상기 액정층측의 면을 조면화 처리한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 16 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 액정 장치를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자기기.
- 액정층을 끼워 지지하는 한 쌍의 기판 중, 관찰측과는 반대측에 위치하는 액정 장치용 기판에 있어서,상기 액정층측의 면에 형성되어, 적어도 관찰측으로부터 입사하는 광을 반사하는 반사막과,상기 액정층측의 면에 형성되어, 반사막에 대하여 개구하는 개구 영역을 갖는 차광막과,상기 액정층측의 면에 있고, 상기 차광막을 덮도록 형성된 착색층과.상기 착색층상에 형성된 투명 전극을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 18 항에 있어서,상기 차광막의 개구 영역내에 있고, 상기 반사막에 광을 투과하는 제 1 개구부를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 18 항 또는 제 19 항에 있어서,상기 반사막과 상기 액정층측의 면 사이에 제 1 막을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 18 항 또는 제 19 항 또는 제 20 항에 있어서,상기 차광막은 흑색의 수지 재료로 이루어지고,그 광학 농도가 0.5 이상 1.7 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 18 항 또는 제 19 항 또는 제 20 항에 있어서,상기 차광막은 상기 착색층이 2색 이상 적층되어지고,그 광학 농도가 0.5 이상 1.7 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 18 항에 있어서,상기 반사막의 표면을 적어도 덮는 제 2 막을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 17 항 또는 제 23 항에 있어서,상기 투명 전극은 밀착성을 높이는 제 3 막상에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 19 항에 있어서,상기 착색층을 덮도록 형성된 제 4 막과,상기 차광막의 개구 영역에 있고, 상기 착색층을 개구하는 제 2 개구부를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 18 항 또는 제 19 항 또는 제 23 항 또는 제 24 항에 있어서,상기 착색층을 덮도록 형성된 제 4 막을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 26 항에 있어서,상기 제 4 막은 광 산란성을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 27 항에 있어서,상기 제 4 막은 수지 재료 중에, 상기 수지 재료와는 굴절율이 다르고, 또한, 상기 제 4 막두께보다도 직경이 작은 입자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 26 항에 있어서,상기 반사막은 상기 액정층측의 조면에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 29 항에 있어서,상기 조면은 상기 액정층측의 면에 형성된 수지 재료의 표면인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 장치용 기판.
- 제 29 항에 있어서,상기 조면은 상기 액정층측의 면을 조면화 처리한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정장치용 기판.
