- 리튬과 리튬 이외의 금속 M을 함유한 복합 산화물을 포함한 비수전해질 이차전지용 양극 활물질의 제조 방법으로서,(ⅰ) 리튬 이외의 금속 M을 함유하고, M이 Ni, Mn 및 Co를 포함하고,Ni와 Mn과 Co의 합계에 대한 Ni의 몰비가 0.45~0.65이고,Ni와 Mn과 Co의 합계에 대한 Mn의 몰비가 0.15~0.35이며,Ni와 Mn과 Co의 합계에 대한 Co의 몰비가 0.15~0.25인 천이금속화합물과 리튬염을, M에 대한 Li의 몰비가 1.00~1.05가 되도록 혼합하고,(ⅱ) 얻어진 혼합물을, 로터리 킬른로내에서 유동시키면서, 산소중 또는 공기중에서, 650℃~850℃의 제1 소성 온도로 제1 소성하고,(ⅲ) 제1 소성으로 얻어진 제1 소성물을, 소성로내에서, 산소중 또는 공기중에서, 제1 소성 온도보다 50℃이상 높은 제2 소성 온도로 제2 소성하여, 상기 복합 산화물을 얻는, 양극 활물질의 제조 방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 리튬염이, 평균 입자지름이 6㎛ 이하의 탄산 리튬인, 양극 활물질의 제조 방법.
- 제 9 항 또는 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 천이금속화합물이, 수산화물이며, 상기 수산화물은, Ni이온, Mn이온 및 Co이온을 함유한 수용액에, 알칼리를 첨가하여, Ni, Mn 및 Co를 공침시키는 것에 의해 얻어지는, 양극 활물질의 제조 방법.
- 제 9 항 또는 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 천이금속화합물이, 산화물이고, 상기 산화물은, Ni이온, Mn 이온 및 Co이온을 함유한 수용액에, 알칼리를 첨가하고, Ni, Mn 및 Co를 공침시키는 것에 의해 얻어지는 수산화물을, 산소를 포함한 분위기중에서 소성하여 얻어지는, 양극 활물질의 제조 방법.
