Claims (17)
- 다중-입력 다중-출력(MIMO) 통신 시스템에서 데이터를 송신하는 방법으로서,
주파수 서브 대역에 대한 공간 처리된 심볼들을 획득하기 위해 다수의 주파수 서브 대역들의 각각에 대한 데이터 심볼들에 공간 처리를 수행하는 단계; 및
다수의 안테나들로부터의 송신 이전에 상기 다수의 주파수 서브 대역들에 대한 상기 공간 처리된 심볼들에 빔 형성을 수행하는 단계를 포함하며,
상기 데이터 심볼들에 공간 처리를 수행하는 단계는,
상기 주파수 서브 대역의 다수의 공간 채널들을 통해 상기 데이터 심볼들을 각각 송신하기 위해 고유 모드 행렬 또는 조종 행렬을 사용하여 상기 각각의 주파수 서브 대역에 대한 상기 데이터 심볼들을 공간 처리하는 단계를 포함하는, 데이터 송신 방법. - 삭제

- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 공간 처리된 심볼들에 빔 형성을 수행하는 단계는,
상기 각각의 주파수 서브 대역에 대한 상기 공간 처리된 심볼들에 상기 주파수 서브 대역에 대한 빔 형성 행렬을 곱함으로써 주파수 영역에서 빔 형성을 수행하는 단계를 포함하는 데이터 송신 방법. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 빔 형성은 선택적으로 수행되고, 시간에 따라 변화하는 데이터 송신 방법. - 다중-입력 다중-출력(MIMO) 통신 시스템의 장치로서,
다수의 주파수 서브 대역들의 각각에 대한 데이터 심볼들에 공간 처리를 수행하여 상기 주파수 서브 대역에 대한 공간 처리된 심볼들을 제공하는 공간 프로세서; 및
다수의 안테나들로부터의 송신 이전에 상기 다수의 주파수 서브 대역들에 대한 상기 공간 처리된 심볼들에 빔 형성을 수행하는 빔 형성기를 포함하며,
상기 공간 프로세서는 상기 주파수 서브 대역의 다수의 공간 채널들을 통해 상기 데이터 심볼들을 각각 송신하기 위해 고유 모드 행렬 또는 조종 행렬을 사용하여 상기 각각의 주파수 서브 대역에 대한 상기 데이터 심볼들을 공간 처리하는 장치. - 삭제

상기 빔 형성기는 상기 각각의 주파수 서브 대역에 대한 상기 공간 처리된 심볼들에 상기 주파수 서브 대역에 대한 빔 형성 행렬을 곱함으로써 주파수 영역에서 빔 형성을 수행하는 장치. - 다중-입력 다중-출력(MIMO) 통신 시스템의 장치로서,
주파수 서브 대역에 대한 공간 처리된 심볼들을 획득하기 위해 다수의 주파수 서브 대역들의 각각에 대한 데이터 심볼들에 공간 처리를 수행하기 위한 수단; 및
다수의 안테나들로부터의 송신 이전에 상기 다수의 주파수 서브 대역들에 대한 상기 공간 처리된 심볼들에 빔 형성을 수행하기 위한 수단을 포함하며,
상기 데이터 심볼들에 공간 처리를 수행하기 위한 수단은,
상기 주파수 서브 대역의 다수의 공간 채널들을 통해 상기 데이터 심볼들을 각각 송신하기 위해 고유 모드 행렬 또는 조종 행렬을 사용하여 상기 각각의 주파수 서브 대역에 대한 상기 데이터 심볼들을 공간 처리하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 장치. - 삭제

상기 다수의 안테나들에 대하여 서로 다른 지연량을 적용함으로써 시간 영역에서 빔 형성을 수행하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 장치. - 내부에 저장된 소프트웨어 코드들을 갖는 메모리 유닛을 포함하는 소프트웨어 저장 장치로서,
상기 소프트웨어 코드들은 일 방법을 수행하는 프로세서에 의해 실행될 수 있으며, 상기 소프트웨어 코드들은
주파수 서브 대역에 대한 공간 처리된 심볼들을 획득하기 위해 다수의 주파수 서브 대역들의 각각에 대한 데이터 심볼들에 공간 처리를 수행하기 위한 소프트웨어 코드; 및
다수의 안테나들로부터의 송신 이전에 상기 다수의 주파수 서브 대역들에 대한 상기 공간 처리된 심볼들에 빔 형성을 수행하기 위한 소프트웨어 코드를 포함하며,
상기 공간 처리를 수행하기 위한 소프트웨어 코드는,
상기 주파수 서브 대역의 다수의 공간 채널들을 통해 상기 데이터 심볼들을 각각 송신하기 위해 고유 모드 행렬 또는 조종 행렬을 사용하여 상기 각각의 주파수 서브 대역에 대한 상기 데이터 심볼들을 공간 처리하기 위한 소프트웨어 코드를 포함하는, 소프트웨어 저장 장치. - 제15항에 있어서, 상기 소프트웨어 코드들은
상이한 시간들에서 시작하는 상기 다수의 안테나들로부터 시간 영역 샘플들의 다수의 시퀀스를 송신하기 위한 소프트웨어 코드를 더 포함하는, 소프트웨어 저장 장치. - 제15항에 있어서, 상기 소프트웨어 코드들은
