Abstract
Description

Claims (36)
- 용융된 세라믹 그레인으로 이루어진 촉매 지지체와 용융된 세라믹 그레인들 중의 적어도 일부에 표면 결합되거나 용융된 세라믹 그레인들 중의 적어도 일부에 혼입되거나 이러한 두 가지 경우 모두에 해당하는 촉매로 구성된 촉매 장치로서,용융된 세라믹 그레인과 촉매가 1㎛ 이상 1㎜ 이하의 상자 크기 "d"로부터 측정하여 박스 카운팅 디멘젼(box counting dimension)이 1.2 이상이거나 적어도 1단계 변화를 갖는 표면 구조를 형성하는 촉매 장치.
- 용융된 세라믹 그레인으로 이루어진 촉매 지지체와 용융된 세라믹 그레인들 중의 적어도 일부에 표면 결합되거나 용융된 세라믹 그레인들 중의 적어도 일부에 혼입되거나 이러한 두 가지 경우 모두에 해당하는 촉매로 구성된 촉매 장치로서,용융된 세라믹 그레인과 촉매가 1㎛ 이상 1㎜ 이하의 상자 크기 "d"로부터 측정하여 박스 카운팅 디멘젼이 1.2 이상이거나 적어도 1단계 변화를 갖는 표면 구조를 형성하고, 세라믹 그레인에 Ce, Zr, La, Mg, Ca 및 이들의 배합물로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 촉매 활성 원자가 혼입되어 있는 촉매 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 세라믹 그레인이 침상 뮬라이트 그레인인 촉매 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매 지지체가 다공성인 촉매 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 세라믹 그레인의 종횡비가 10 이상인 촉매 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 다공성 촉매 지지체의 다공도가 50용적% 이상인 촉매 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 다공도가 60용적% 이상인 촉매 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 다공도가 70용적% 이상인 촉매 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 촉매 지지체가, 다공도가 촉매 지지체의 다공도보다 낮은 상이한 물질로 구성된 구조물 지지체의 표면에 부착되어 있는 촉매 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상이한 물질이 금속, 평균 종횡비가 2 이하인 그레인을 갖는 세라믹 또는 이들의 배합물인 촉매 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 구조물 지지체가 세라믹인 촉매 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서, 세라믹이 코디어라이트인 촉매 장치.
- 제12항에 있어서, 촉매 지지체가 뮬라이트인 촉매 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매가 세라믹, 금속 또는 이들의 혼합물인 촉매 장치.
- 제14항에 있어서, 촉매가 Ni, Ti, Fe, Ce, Zr, La, Mg, Ca 및 이들의 배합물로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택된 원소로 구성되는 촉매 장치.
- 용융된 세라믹 그레인으로 이루어진 촉매 지지체와 용융된 세라믹 그레인들 중의 적어도 일부에 표면 결합되거나 용융된 세라믹 그레인들 중의 적어도 일부에 혼입되거나 이러한 두 가지 경우 모두에 해당하는 촉매로 구성된 촉매 장치로서,용융된 세라믹 그레인과 촉매가 1㎛ 이상 1㎜ 이하의 상자 크기 "d"로부터 측정하여 박스 카운팅 디멘젼이 1.2 이상이거나 적어도 1단계 변화를 갖는 표면 구조를 형성하고, 촉매가 표면에 금속을 갖는 제올라이트, 표면에 금속을 갖는 알루미나, 페로브스카이트형 촉매, 피로클로스(pyrochlors), 또는 표면에 금속을 갖는 뮬라이트 이외의 알루미노실리케이트인 촉매 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매가 촉매 지지체의 세라믹 그레인에 직접 결합되어 있는 촉매 장치.
- 제17항에 있어서, 촉매가 귀금속, 비귀금속, 비귀금속 산화물 또는 이들의 배합물인 촉매 장치.
- 제18항에 있어서, 촉매가 백금, 로듐, 팔라듐 및 이들의 배합물로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택되는 촉매 장치.
- 제18항에 있어서, 비귀금속이 Cu, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni 및 이들의 배합물로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택되는 촉매 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매가 층을 형성하는 그레인들의 표면의 적어도 일부에 결합되어, 촉매에 의해 결합된 그레인들 중의 10% 이상의 층 두께가 피복된 각 그레인의 최소 치수의 두께의 1/2 이하인 촉매 장치.
- 제21항에 있어서, 촉매에 의해 결합된 그레인들 중의 10% 이상의 층 두께가 피복된 각 그레인의 최소 치수의 두께의 1/4인 촉매 장치.
- 가스가 촉매 장치 위로 유동하도록 주입구와 배출구가 구비된 금속 용기 속에 밀봉된 제1항의 촉매 장치로 구성된 촉매 컨버터.
- 제23항에 있어서, 촉매 컨버터가 동일한 촉매로 제조되고 동일한 조건하에서 테스트된 코디어라이트 또는 금속 벌집형 지지체로 구성된 촉매 컨버터보다 짧은 주기로 라이트-오프(light-off)에 도달하는 촉매 컨버터.
- 가스가 촉매 장치 속으로 유동하도록 주입구와 배출구가 구비된 금속 용기 속에 밀봉된, 제4항의 촉매 장치로 구성된 촉매 컨버터.
- 가스가 촉매 장치 속으로 유동하도록 주입구와 배출구가 구비된 금속 용기 속에 밀봉된 제4항의 촉매 장치로 구성된 촉매 컨버터 그을음 트랩(catalyst converter soot trap).
- 제23항에 있어서, 촉매 컨버터가 동일한 촉매로 제조되고 동일한 조건하에서 테스트된 코디어라이트 또는 금속 벌집형 지지체로 구성된 촉매 컨버터보다 낮은 라이트-오프 온도를 갖는 촉매 컨버터.
- 제16항에 있어서, 촉매 장치가 동일한 촉매로 제조되고 동일한 조건하에서 테스트된 코디어라이트 또는 금속 벌집형 지지체로 구성된 촉매 장치보다 낮은 라이트-오프 온도를 갖는 촉매 장치.
- 제28항에 있어서, 촉매가 표면에 금속을 갖는 알루미나로 구성된 촉매 장치.
- 제23항에 있어서, 촉매 컨버터가 동일한 촉매로 제조되고 동일한 조건하에서 테스트된 코디어라이트 또는 금속 벌집형 지지체로 구성된 촉매 컨버터보다 낮은 소화 온도를 갖는 촉매 컨버터.
- 제16항에 있어서, 촉매 장치가 동일한 촉매로 제조되고 동일한 조건하에서 테스트된 코디어라이트 또는 금속 벌집형 지지체로 구성된 촉매 장치보다 낮은 소화 온도를 갖는 촉매 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 그레인과 촉매가, 1㎛ 이상 1㎜ 이하의 상자 크기 "d"로부터 측정한 박스 카운팅 디멘젼이 1.2 이상인 표면 구조를 형성하는 촉매 장치.
- 제32항에 있어서, 그레인과 촉매가, 1㎛ 이상 1㎜ 이하의 상자 크기 "d"로부터 측정한 박스 카운팅 디멘젼이 1.5 이상인 표면 구조를 형성하는 촉매 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 그레인과 촉매가, 1㎛ 이상 1㎜ 이하의 상자 크기 "d"로부터 측정한 박스 카운팅 디멘젼이 적어도 1단계 변화를 갖는 표면 구조를 형성하는 촉매 장치.
- 제34항에 있어서, 그레인과 촉매가, 1㎛ 이상 1㎜ 이하의 상자 크기 "d"로부터 측정한 박스 카운팅 디멘젼이 2단계 이상의 변화를 갖는 표면 구조를 형성하는 촉매 장치.
