Claims (15)
- 연소실 (16) 내로 연료를 직접 분사하는 연료분사밸브 (40) 와,제 1 공급유니트 및 미리 정해진 압력 하에서 상기 제 1 공급유니트로부터 공급된 연료를 더 가압하고 연료를 연료분사밸브 (40) 로 공급하는 제 2 공급유니트를 포함하는, 연료를 상기 연료분사밸브 (40) 로 공급하는 연료공급장치와,상기 제 2 공급유니트 (47) 에서 이상이 발생한 때, 상기 연료공급장치를 제어하고 상기 연료분사밸브 (40) 가 상기 제 1 공급유니트 (46) 에 의하여 가압된 연료로 연료분사를 수행하게 하기 위하여 상기 제 2 공급유니트 (47) 를 정지시키는 제어수단 (92) 을 구비하고,상기 제어수단 (92) 은, 상기 제 2 공급유니트 (47) 의 구동이 정지하였을 때, 실화를 유발하지 않는 혼합기만이 상기 연소실 (16) 내에 형성되게 하기 위하여 상기 연료분사밸브 (40) 의 구동 또는 연소실 (16) 내로 흡입되는 공기량을 제한하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 연소실 (16) 내에서 공기 및 연료의 혼합기를 연소시킴으로써 동력을 얻는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단 (92) 이 엔진의 운전상태에 기초하여 연료분사밸브 (40) 로부터 분사되는 연료의 양 (Q) 을 계산하고, 상기 제어수단 (92) 이 계산된 연료분사량 (Q) 이 미리 정해진 허용값 (Qmax) 보다 큰 때에는 연료분사밸브 (40) 의 연료분사를 방지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단 (92) 이 엔진의 운전상태에 기초하여 연료분사밸브 (40) 으로부터 분사되는 연료의 양 (Q) 을 계산하고, 상기 제어수단 (92) 이 연소실 (16) 으로 보내지는 공기량을 제한하여 계산된 연료분사량 (Q) 이 미리 정해진 허용값 (Qmax) 를 초과하지 않게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 연소실 (16) 로 공기를 공급하는 흡기통로 (32) 는 상기 연소실 (16) 에 연결되고, 상기 흡기통로 (32) 의 개방량을 통제하는 쓰로틀밸브 (23) 가 상기 흡기통로 (32) 내에 위치되며, 상기 제어수단 (92) 이 쓰로틀밸브 (23) 의 개방정도를 미리 정해진 상한값 또는 그 이하로 제한하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 미리 정해진 상한값 (G) 은 엔진속력 (NE) 를 포함하는 엔진의 운전상태에 따라 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 미리 정해진 상한값 (G) 이 엔진속력 (NE) 의 증가에 따라서 감소하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 제 2 항 내지 제 6 항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 엔진의 작동싸이클에서 연료가 상기 연소실 (16) 내로 분사될 수 있는 기간이 분사가능기간으로 미리 정해지고, 허용값 (Qmax) 은 분사가능기간 내에 제 1 공급유니트 (46) 로부터 공급된 연료의 압력에 따라 연료분사밸브로부터 분사가 허용되는 연료분사량의 최대값인 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 제 2 항 내지 제 6 항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 미리 정해진 허용값 (Qmax) 은 엔진속력 (NE) 를 포함하는 엔진의 운전상태에 따라 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 미리 정해진 허용값 (Qmax) 은 엔진속력 (NE) 의 증가에 따라 감소하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 제 2 항 내지 제 6 항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 엔진이, 상기 연소실 (16) 내에 고르지 않게 분포된 혼합기를 연소시키는 성층연소와, 상기 연소실 (16) 내에 고르게 분포된 혼합기를 연소시키는 균질연소를 포함하는 다수의 연소모드 중에서 선택된 연소모드를 수행하고, 상기 균질연소는 상기 제 2 공급유니트 (47) 가 정지한 때에 연소모드로서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 성층연소는 연료분사밸브 (40) 가 엔진의 압축행정 동안에 연료를 분사하는 것으로서 수행되고, 상기 균질연소는 연료분사밸브 (40) 가 엔진의 흡기행정 동안에 연료를 분사하는 것으로서 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 성층연소가 수행될 때, 상기 제어수단 (92) 이 엔진속력 (NE) 및 연소실 (16) 로 흡입되는 공기의 압력 (PM) 에 기초하여 연료분사량 (Q) 을 계산하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어장치.
- 미리 정해진 압력 하에서 제 1 공급유니트 (46) 로부터 공급된 연료를 더 가압하고 이 연료를 연료분사밸브 (40) 로 공급하는 제 2 공급유니트 (47) 및 제 1 공급유니트 (46) 를 포함하는 연료공급장치로부터 연료분사밸브 (40) 까지 연료를 공급하는 단계와,가압된 연료를 상기 연료분사밸브 (40) 로부터 연소실 (16) 로 직접 분사하는 단계와,상기 제 2 공급유니트 (47) 에 이상이 발생한 때, 연료분사밸브 (40) 가 제 1 공급유니트 (46) 로부터 송출되는 연료의 압력으로 연료분사를 수행하도록 제 2 공급유니트 (47) 를 정지시키는 단계와,상기 제 2 공급유니트의 구동이 정지된 때, 실화를 유발하지 않는 혼합기만을 연소실 (16) 내에 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 연소실 (16) 내에서 공기 및 연료의 혼합기를 연소시킴으로써 동력을 얻는 엔진의 제어방법.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 엔진의 운전상태에 기초하여 상기 연료분사밸브 (40) 로부터 분사되는 연료의 양 (Q) 을 계산하는 단계와,상기 제 2 공급유니트 (47) 가 정지된 상태에서, 계산된 연료분사량 (Q) 이 미리 정해진 허용값 (Qmax) 보다 클 때에, 연료분사밸브 (40) 의 연료분사를 방지하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어방법.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 엔진의 운전상태에 기초하여 상기 연료분사밸브 (40) 로부터 분사되는 연료의 양 (Q) 을 계산하는 단계와,상기 제 2 공급유니트 (47) 이 정지된 때에는, 계산된 연료분사량 (Q) 이 미리 정해진 허용값 (Qmax) 을 초과하지 않도록, 연소실 (16) 내로 보내지는 공기량을 제한하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 제어방법.
