Claims (2)
- I-화상과, P-화상, 및 B-화상을 포함하는 압축된 비디오 데이타를 기록 매체로부터 재생하기 위한 재생 장치에 있어서,상기 재생 장치는 재생 동작과 헤드 이동 동작을 교대로 반복하기 위한 고속 재생 수단과,상기 고속 재생 수단에 의해 재생된 압축된 비디오 데이타로부터 I-화상을 추출하기 위한 추출 수단과,상기 추출 수단에 의해 추출된 I-화상을 기억하기 위한 메모리 수단과,상기 재생 동작의 소정 기간 동안에 상기 I-화상이 검출되는지 아닌지를 판별하기 위한 판별 수단, 및상기 재생 동작의 소정 기간 동안에 상기 I-화상이 검출되지 않으면, 상기 고속 재생 수단이 다음 I-화상을 액세스하기 위하여 제어되도록 고속 재생 수단을 제어하기 위한 제어 수단을 포함하는 기록 매체 재생 장치.
- 압축된 비디오 데이타를 스틸(still) 비디오 데이타와 이동 소모 데이타를 갖는 기록 매체로부터 고속 재생하기 위한 방법에 있어서,사용자의 고속 재생 조작에 따라 재생 동작과 헤드 이동 동작을 교대로 반복하는 단계와,상기 고속 재생 중에 재생되는 압축된 비디오 데이타로부터 I-화상을 추출하는 단계와,메모리에 I-화상을 기억시키는 단계와,상기 재생 동작의 소정 기간 동안에 I-화상이 검출되는지 아닌지를 판별하는 단계, 및상기 I-화상이 재생 동작의 소정 기간 동안에 검출되지 않으면, 다음의 I-화상을 액세스하기 위하여 헤드를 제어하는 단계를 포함하는 기록 매체 고속 재생 방법.
