- 디스크에 있어서,상기 디스크의 내측에 배치된, 섹터 어드레스 부분과 데이터 부분을 포함하는 데이터를 재생하기 위한 제 1 저장 영역과,적어도 프리피트(prepit)들로 기록된 어드레스 정보를 포함하는 헤더 부분과 데이터를 기록 및 재생할 수 있는 기록 데이터 부분을 포함하고, 적어도 섹터 어드레스 부분과 데이터 부분을 가지며, 상기 디스크의 외측에 배치된 제 2 저장 영역을 포함하고,서로 가까이 있는 상기 제 1 저장 영역 및 상기 제 2 저장 영역의 각 트랙 (track)내의 섹터(sector)들의 수가 상기 제 2 저장 영역에서 보다 상기 제 1 저장 영역에서 더 크고,상기 제 1 저장 영역의 각 트랙내의 섹터들의 선두 엣지 (leading edge)가 적어도 한 선에 정렬되는 디스크.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 저장 영역내의 각 섹터의 선두 엣지 및 상기 제 2 저장 영역내의 각 섹터의 선두 엣지는 반지름 방향으로 적어도 한 선에 정렬되는 디스크.

- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 제어기는 그루브를 기록할 때의 기록 광빔 전력과 비교해, 어드레스 정보를 나타내는 피트를 기록할 때 기록 광빔 전력을 감소시키는 디스크 기록 장치.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 및 제 2 제어기는 독립적으로 기록 데이터의 ON/OFF 듀티비 (duty ratio)를 제어하는 디스크 기록 장치.
- 제 16 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 제어기는 상기 제 1 저장 영역이 백업 데이터 부분과 사용자 데이터 부분으로 나누어질 때 각 구역에 입력되는 기록 데이터의 ON/OFF 듀티비를 제어하고,상기 제 2 제어기는 각 구역에서 기록 데이터의 ON/OFF 듀티비를 제어하는 디스크 기록 장치.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 광빔 편향기는 헤더인 어드레스 정보를 포함하는 피트들로 형성된 한 데이터 무리의 첫 번째 절반에 대해 외부 트랙 방향으로 약 절반 트랙 만큼 상기 제 2 광빔을 편향시키고, 데이터의 두 번째 절반에 대해 내부 트랙 방향으로 약 절반 트랙 만큼 상기 제 2 광빔을 편향시키고, 또한 제 2 광빔이 그루브를 가로지를 때 상기 제 2 광빔이 워블 (wobble)되는 것을 주기적으로 허용하는 디스크 기록 장치.
- 마스터 광학 디스크에서 데이터를 재생하기 위한 제 1 저장 영역에 피트들을형성하고 데이터를 기록 및 재생하기 위한 제 2 저장 영역에 그루브 및 헤더를 형성하는 광원과,상기 광원으로부터의 광빔을 변조하는 광변조기와,기록 데이터를 근거로 상기 광변조기를 제어하는 광변조 제어기와,상기 광변조기로부터의 광빔을 트랙 방향의 우측 각도로 편향시키는 광빔 편향기와,상기 광빔 편향기를 제어하는 광빔 편향 제어기와,상기 광빔 편향기로부터의 광빔을 정형화하는 빔 정형 유닛과,상기 제 1 저장 영역과 상기 제 2 저장 영역 사이에서 빔 정형 유닛으로부터 광빔의 개구 한계를 스위칭하는 개구 격막 (aperture diaphragm)과,상기 개구 격막으로부터의 광빔을 상기 마스터 광학 디스크에 집중시키는 대물 렌즈와,상기 마스터 광학 디스크를 회전시키는 모터와,상기 모터를 제어하는 모터 제어기와,상기 모터 제어기로부터의 한 회전 동기화 신호를 근거로 상기 광변조 제어기와 상기 광빔 편향 제어기의 타이밍을 제어하는 타이밍 제어기를 포함하고,상기 광변조 제어기는 상기 제 1 저장 영역내의 각 섹터들의 선두 엣지가 방사형으로 배열되도록 기록 신호를 발생하고, 상기 기록 신호는 상기 광변조기를 제어하는 디스크 기록 장치.
- 제 19 항에 있어서,상기 광변조 제어기는 상기 제 2 저장 영역을 기록할 때와 비교해, 상기 제 1 저장 영역을 기록할 때 기록 광빔 전력을 감소시키고, 상기 제 2 저장 영역에 그루브를 기록할 때와 비교해, 상기 제 2 저장 영역에 어드레스 정보를 포함하는 피트를 기록할 때 기록 광빔 전력을 감소시키는 디스크 기록 장치.
- 제 19 항에 있어서,상기 광변조 제어기는 독립적으로 상기 제 1 및 제 2 저장 영역에서 기록 데이터의 ON/OFF 듀티비를 제어하는 디스크 기록 장치.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 광원 제어기는 각 구역에서 상기 제 2 저장 영역에 기록된 기록 데이터의 ON/OFF 듀티비를 제어하는 디스크 기록 장치.
- 제 19 항에 있어서,상기 광빔 편향기는 상기 제 2 저장 영역내의 헤더인 어드레스 정보를 포함하는 피트로 구성된 한 데이터 무리의 첫 번째 절반에 대해 외부 트랙 방향으로 약 절반 트랙 만큼 광빔을 편향시키고, 데이터의 두 번째 절반에 대해 내부 트랙 방향으로 약 절반 트랙 만큼 광빔을 편향시키고, 광빔이 그루브를 가로지를 때 광빔이 워블되는 것을 주기적으로 허용하는 디스크 기록 장치.
- 제 19 항에 있어서,상기 개구 격막은 상기 제 2 저장 영역에서 그루브와 헤더 사이의 개구 한계를 스위칭하는 디스크 기록 장치.
