Abstract
Description
図1Aは、本発明の実施の形態に係る成形体の構造を模式的に示す断面斜視図である。
第1の層10は、熱可塑性樹脂と、複数の強化繊維が一方向に配列してなる短冊状の強化繊維の束(強化繊維束)とを含む繊維強化樹脂材料を用いたものであり、短冊状の強化繊維の束が3次元にランダムに積層された積層構造の層である。
本実施の形態における成形体1に用いられる熱可塑性樹脂は、エポキシ樹脂、ポリアミド樹脂、アクリル樹脂、ポリフェニレンサルファイド樹脂、ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリアセタール樹脂、ポリカーボネート、ポリウレタン、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、アクリロニトリルブタジエンスチレン(ABS)樹脂、変性ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂、フェノキシ樹脂、ポリスルホン、ポリエーテルスルホン、ポリエーテルケトン、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、芳香族ポリエステル、6−ナイロン、または、6,6−ナイロン等の熱可塑性樹脂であって、硬化した後も熱可塑性を有するものである。
本実施の形態における成形体1に用いられる強化繊維としては、無機繊維、有機繊維、金属繊維、または、これらを複合して用いたものが挙げられる。具体的には、炭素繊維、黒鉛繊維、炭化ケイ素繊維、アルミナ繊維、タングステンカーバイト繊維、ボロン繊維、ガラス繊維、バサルト繊維、パラ系アラミド繊維、メタ系アラミド繊維、超高分子量ポリエチレン繊維、ポリアリレート繊維、PBO(ポリパラフェニレンベンズオキサゾール)繊維、ポリフェニレンサルファイド(PPS)繊維、ポリイミド繊維、フッ素繊維、ポリビニルアルコール(PVA繊維)、ステンレス、または、鉄などが挙げられる。

<積層物の作製>
本実施例では、複数の強化繊維を一方向に配列された強化繊維の束として、炭素繊維の単繊維を24000本束ねたもの(24K)を用いた(PAN系炭素繊維(東レ株式会社製のT700SC))。
・熱可塑性エポキシ樹脂(後反応型樹脂。DENATITE XNR6850V。ナガセケムテックス株式会社製。) 100部
・硬化剤(DENATITE XNH6850V。ナガセケムテックス株式会社製。) 6.5部
・メチルエチルケトン 10部
本実施例では、長繊維の強化繊維として、長繊維の炭素繊維を用いて得られた平織物(東レ株式会社製のトレカ(登録商標)CO6343B。炭素繊維3000本を束ねた3Kの炭素繊維束を用いて得られた平織物)を用いた。
まず、上記のように作製した1枚の積層物と2枚のシート状物とを用意し、2枚のシート状物の間に積層物を挟み、層状物を得た。
<積層層状物の作製>
本実施例では、複数の強化繊維を一方向に配列された強化繊維の束として、炭素繊維の単繊維を24000本束ねたもの(24K)を用いた(PAN系炭素繊維(東レ株式会社製のT700SC))。
・熱可塑性エポキシ樹脂(後反応型樹脂。DENATITE XNR6850V。ナガセケムテックス株式会社製。) 100部
・硬化剤(DENATITE XNH6850V。ナガセケムテックス株式会社製。) 6.5部
・硬化剤(3官能のブック型イソシアネート系化合物) 5部
・メチルエチルケトン 10部
本実施例では、長繊維の強化繊維として、長繊維の炭素繊維を用いて得られた平織物(東レ株式会社製のトレカ(登録商標)CO6343B。炭素繊維3000本を束ねた3Kの炭素繊維束を用いて得られた平織物)を用いた。
まず、上記で作製した積層物及びシート状物をタテ20cm、ヨコ20cmにカットし、得られた2枚のシート状物の間に積層物を1枚挟み込んで層状物を得た。
ここで、実施例1の層状物のみに凹凸加工を施した場合の成形体について、参考例として説明する。
参考例1では、実施例1の層状物を真空の環境状態(−0.1MPa)にて、200℃で予備加熱し、引き続き、200℃、500kN、10分間、凹凸の深さが0.5cmの型を用いて加熱しながら加圧することで、凹凸の深さが0.5cmの成形体を得た。得られた成形体は、厚みが1.50mmで、Vf値が48%であった。
参考例2では、実施例1の層状物を真空の環境状態(−0.1MPa)にて、200℃で予備加熱し、引き続き、200℃、500kN、3分間、凹凸の深さが5cmの型を用いて加熱しながら加圧することで、凹凸の深さが5cmの成形体を得た。得られた成形体は、厚みが1.50mmで、Vf値が52%であった。
