Abstract
Description
本実施例および比較例において使用した供試材料を製造元、商品名などとともに示す。
・ポリプロピレン[住友化学(株)製、商品名「AH585A」]
・ファイマテック(株)製、商品名「ジュンマグ」
(C−1)ポリオレフィン
・ポリプロピレン[三洋化成(株)製、商品名「サンワックスLEL800」]
・ポリエチレン[三洋化成(株)製、商品名「ビスコール330P」]
(C−2)スチレン系熱可塑性エラストマー
・スチレン−エチレン−ブチレン−スチレンブロック共重合体(SEBS)[クラレ(株)製、商品名「セプトン8104」]
・無水マレイン酸変性スチレン−エチレン−ブチレン−スチレンブロック共重合体(MAH−SEBS)[旭化成(株)製、商品名「タフテック1913」]
・スチレン−エチレン−プロピレン−スチレンブロック共重合体(SEPS)[クラレ(株)製、商品名「セプトン2002」]
(C−3)エチレン系熱可塑性エラストマー
・メタロセンポリエチレン[住友化学(株)製、商品名「スミカセンE」]
(C−4)ステアリン酸[日本油脂(株)製、商品名「ステアリン酸」]
(C−5)ステアリン酸亜鉛[日本油脂(株)製、商品名「ジンクステアレート」]
(C−6)メタクリルシラン[チッソ(株)製、商品名「S710」]
・チバスペシャルティケミカルズ(株)製、商品名「イルガノックス1010」
水酸化マグネシウムを温度200℃にてスーパーミキサー内で撹拌しながら、表1に示す表面処理剤を、約5分かけてミキサー内に徐々に投入した。所定量投入後、さらに約20分撹拌して、実施例および比較例に係る難燃剤を調製した。
初めに、二軸混練機を用いて、表1に示す各成分を混合温度200℃にて混練した後、ペレタイザーにてペレット状に成形して本実施例に係る組成物と比較例に係る組成物を得た。次いで、得られた各組成物を、押出成形機により、軟銅線を7本撚り合わせた軟銅撚線の導体(断面積0.5mm2)の外周に0.2mm厚で押出被覆し、本実施例に係る絶縁電線および比較例に係る絶縁電線を作製した。
以上のように作製した各組成物の吐出量(kg/h)を評価した。また、各絶縁電線について、耐寒性試験を行った。
JIS C3005に準拠して行なった。すなわち、作製した絶縁電線を38mmの長さに切り出して試験片とした。そのサンプルを試験機にかけ、冷却しながら打撃具でたたき、5本すべてが割れたときの温度を耐寒温度とした。耐寒温度が−20℃以下となるものを合格とした。
Claims (10)
- 水酸化マグネシウムを主成分とする天然鉱物の粉砕物を、有機高分子で表面処理してなることを特徴とする難燃剤。
- 前記有機高分子による表面処理量は、0.1〜10重量%の範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の難燃剤。
- 前記有機高分子は、ポリオレフィン、スチレン系熱可塑性エラストマーおよびオレフィン系熱可塑性エラストマーから選択される1種または2種以上を含有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の難燃剤。
- 前記ポリオレフィンは、ポリプロピレンおよび/またはポリエチレンであり、
前記スチレン系熱可塑性エラストマーは、スチレン−エチレン−ブチレン−スチレンブロック共重合体および/またはスチレン−エチレン−プロピレン−スチレンブロック共重合体であり、
前記オレフィン系熱可塑性エラストマーは、メタロセンポリエチレンであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の難燃剤。 - 請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の難燃剤と、有機高分子とを含有してなることを特徴とする難燃性組成物。
- 前記難燃剤の有機高分子と当該組成物中の有機高分子とが、同種であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の難燃性組成物。
- 前記有機高分子100重量部に対して、前記難燃剤を30〜250重量部含有していることを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載の難燃性組成物。
- 請求項5から7のいずれかに記載の難燃性組成物を導体の外周に被覆してなることを特徴とする絶縁電線。
- 請求項8に記載の絶縁電線を含有してなることを特徴とするワイヤーハーネス。
- 請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の難燃剤と有機高分子とを混練する工程を有することを特徴とする難燃性組成物の製造方法。
