- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 一導電型半導体基板上の素子形成領域に酸化膜
を介し高融点金属又は高融点金属を主体とするシ
リコン合金を上層、ポリシリコンを下層に積層・
形成した２層構造からなるゲート電極を形成する
と共に上記半導体基板の該ゲート電極近傍に他導
電型不純物拡散領域を形成した半導体装置におい
て、 上記高融点金属又はシリコン合金の全面をポリ
シリコンで囲繞被覆したことを特徴とする半導体
装置。
