Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は自動二輪車の車体フレーム構造に関するもので
ある。
〔従来の技術〕
従来の自動二輪車においては、エンジンをダウンチュー
ブに取付けたり、メインフレームの一部に直接取付けて
支持していた。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
そのため、種々のバリエーションのエンジンを支持する
ことは困難であった。
そこで、本発明は種々のバリエーションのエンジンを支
持することのできる自動二輪車の車体フレームを提供す
ることを目的とする。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
上記目的を達成するため、本発明の自動二輪車の車体フ
レームは、車体前部のヘッドパイプから左右対称に漸次
拡開して車体後方へ延在する一対のメインフレームを上
下幅の大きな断面矩形の筒状体で形成し、前記一対のメ
インフレームの下部に下方に延出するエンジンハンガー
を設けたことを特徴とするものである。
〔作　用〕
したがって、メインフレームに設けたエンジンハンガー
により、エンジンを吊持すれば、種々のバリエーション
のエンジンを支持することができる。
〔実施例〕
以下、本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
自動二輪車１は、上下幅の大きな断面矩形の筒状体で形
成したメインフレーム２．２を車体の左右に有し、メイ
ンフレーム２．２は先端にヘッドバイブ３を溶着し、そ
こから左右対称に漸次拡開して車体後方へ延在されて形
成され、その後端にピボットプレート４，４が溶着され
ている。またメインフレーム２，２の後部上面にはシー
トレール５，５を接合している。
ヘッドパイプ３には、前輪６を支承するフロントフォー
ク７が設けられ、ハンドルパー８により左右に操舵可能
となっている。
ピボットプレート４．４はその上端にシートガセットプ
レート９，９を一体的に設（プ、該プレート９．９の上
端をシートレール５，５に結合してシートレール５，５
を支持し、下部にリアフォーク１０を上下方向に回動可
能に支持し、該リアフォーク１０に後輪１１が支承され
、リアフォーク１０とピボットプレート４，４との間に
リアサスペンション装ｗ１１２を設けている。
メインフレーム２．２とシートレール５．５の上部の前
部にはフューエルタンク１３が載置され、フューエルタ
ンク１３の後方にシー１−が設けられる。
メインフレーム２．２とヘッドバイブ３の溶着部の内隅
部下部には補強用のヘッドパイプガセット１４が溶着さ
れ、またメインフレーム２．２の下部中央には下方に延
出してエンジンハンガー１５．１５が設けられている。
そしてこのエンジンハンガー１５．１５とピボットプレ
ート４，４によりエンジン１６を支持している。
エンジンハンガー１５は第３図に示す如く中空断面形状
を呈し、メインフレーム２下部に溶着したエンジンハン
ガーブラケット１７にボルト１８及びナツト１９により
取付けるか、又は第４図に示す如く、エンジンハンガー
１５の上部をメインフレーム２の下部に直接溶着して取
付ける。
尚、上記一対のメインフレームは内部に区画壁を設けて
、断面「目」字状又は「日」字状に形成したものを用い
ることもできる。
（発明の効果〕 本発明は以上のように、左右一対のメインフレームを上
下幅の大きな断面矩形の筒状体で形成し、前記一対のメ
インフレームの下部に下方に延出するエンジンハンガー
を設けたから、そのエンジンハンガーにより種々のバリ
エーションのエンジンを支持することができる。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １、車体前部のヘッドパイプから左右対称に漸次拡開し
    て車体後方へ延在する一対のメインフレームを上下幅の
    大きな断面矩形の筒状体で形成し、前記一対のメインフ
    レームの下部に下方に延出するエンジンハンガーを設け
    たことを特徴とする自動二輪車の車体フレーム。
