Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)第1の接着剤層と、 (b)不規則形状ガラス粒子と透明なガラスビーズの混合物の層であって、該 混合物は接着促進剤で任意に処理され、該ガラスビーズと不規則形状ガラス粒子 との層は、ガラスビーズの平均直径の約20%〜約70%が露出するように、該 第1の接着剤層に部分的に包埋され、該第1の接着剤層は該ガラスビーズと該不 規則形状ガラス粒子との該混合物を接着することができるものと、 を具備するガラスビーズ塗布物品であって、 該ガラスビーズと該不規則形状ガラス粒子との該混合物の平均断面直径は、該 混合物の少なくとも95重量%にとって、約20ミクロン〜約180ミクロンの 範囲にあり、 該ガラスビーズと該不規則形状ガラス粒子との総数の少なくとも95重量%は 、最小断面直径と最大断面直径との差が約3倍以下である3倍範囲内にあり、 該ビーズ塗布物品は、該ビーズ塗布物品の単位面積あたりの該ガラスビーズと 該不規則粒子との平均総数をもとにして、該ビーズ塗布物品の単位面積あたりの 平均数で少なくとも約3%の不規則粒子を具備し、前述の不規則形状ガラス粒子 の平均数は該3倍範囲内にある最小断面直径と等しいかあるいは大きい断面直径 を有する不規則形状ガラス粒子をもとにしており、 該ガラスビーズ及び不規則形状ガラス粒子は約1.5〜約1.6の間の屈折率 を有し、 該ガラスビーズ及び不規則形状ガラス粒子は、該ガラスビーズ及び不規則形状 ガラス粒子を中に包埋した連続層を有する該第1の接着剤の平面の摩擦係数が約 0.3未満であるように配置されるガラスビーズ塗布物品。 2.前記物品の前記第1の接着剤層の前記包埋されたガラスビーズ層とは反対 側に結合される支持体層、接着剤層、着色重合体層及び剥離層からなる群から選 択される1つ以上の層を更に具備する請求項1記載のビーズ塗布物品。 3.画像の形態で任意に配置される1つ以上の着色重合体層と支持体とを更 に具備し、該着色重合体層は、前記透明な第1の接着剤層の前記包埋ガラスビー ズ層とは反対側と該支持体層との間に結合される請求項1記載のビーズ塗布物品 。 4.前記着色重合体層は、4色印刷法によって設けられる請求項2記載のビー ズ塗布物品。 5.(a)(i)支持層と、 (ii)該支持層に結合される熱可塑性ガラスビーズ剥離層と、 を具備するトランスファーキャリアと、 (b)透明なガラスビーズと不規則形状ガラス粒子との混合物の層であって、 該混合物は接着促進剤で任意に処理され、該ガラスビーズは平均直径の約20% 〜約70%が熱可塑性ガラスビーズ剥離層に包埋され、該不規則形状ガラス粒子 の少なくともいくらかは該熱可塑性ガラスビーズ剥離層に部分的に包埋され、該 不規則形状ガラス粒子のいくらかは該熱可塑性ガラスビーズ剥離層に任意に完全 に包埋されるように、該熱可塑性ガラスビーズ剥離層の該支持層とは反対側に形 成され、 ガラスビーズと不規則形状ガラス粒子の総数の少なくとも95重量%は、最小 断面直径と最大断面直径との差が約3倍以下である3倍範囲内にあり、 該ガラスビーズと該不規則形状ガラス粒子との該混合物の平均断面直径は、該 混合物の少なくとも95重量%にとって、約20ミクロン〜約180ミクロンの 範囲にあり、 透明なガラスビーズと不規則形状ガラス粒子の屈折率が約1.5〜約1.6の 間である層と、 (c)該ガラスビーズと該不規則形状ガラス粒子との該混合物の層に接着する ことができる第1の接着剤層であって、該混合物は任意に接着促進剤で処理され 、該ガラスビーズは平均直径の約30%〜約80%が該第1の接着剤層に包埋さ れるように、該熱可塑性ガラスビーズ剥離層に包埋されない該ガラスビーズ及び 該不規則形状ガラス粒子の表面に形成される第1の接着剤層と、 を具備するトランスファー物品であって、 該ガラスビーズに対する該第1の接着剤層の接着が該ガラスビーズに対する 該熱可塑性剥離層の接着よりも強く、前述の不規則形状ガラス粒子の平均数は該 3倍範囲内にある最小断面直径と等しいかあるいは大きい断面直径を有する不規 則形状ガラス粒子をもとにしており、 該トランスファー物品は、該トランスファー物品の単位面積あたりの該ガラス ビーズと該不規則形状ガラス粒子との総数をもとにして、該トランスファー物品 の単位面積あたりの平均数で少なくとも約3%の不規則形状ガラス粒子を具備し 、 該ガラスビーズ及び不規則形状ガラス粒子は、該トランスファー物品からの該 トランスファーキャリアの除去時に、該ガラスビーズ及び不規則形状ガラス粒子 を中に部分的に包埋した連続層を有する該第1の接着剤の平面の摩擦係数が約0 .3未満であるように配置されるトランスファー物品。 6.前記物品の前記第1の接着剤層の前記包埋ガラスビーズ層とは反対側に結 合される支持体層、接着剤層、着色重合体層及び剥離層からなる群から選択され る1つ以上の層を更に具備する請求項5記載のトランスファー物品。 7.画像の形態で任意に配置される1つ以上の着色重合体層と該着色重合体層 の形状に対応した支持体接着剤層とを更に具備し、該着色重合体層は、前記透明 な第1の接着剤層の前記包埋ガラスビーズ層とは反対側と該支持体層接着剤層と の間に結合される請求項5記載のトランスファー物品。 8.前記着色重合体層は、4色印刷法によって設けられる請求項6記載のトラ ンスファー物品。 9.トランスファー物品を製造する方法であって、 (a)支持層に結合される熱可塑性ガラスビーズ剥離層を具備するトランスフ ァーキャリアを提供するステップと、 (b)透明なガラスビーズと不規則形状ガラス粒子との混合物の層を部分的に 包埋するステップであって、該ガラスビーズは平均直径の約20%〜約70%が 該熱可塑性ガラスビーズ剥離層に包埋され、該不規則形状ガラス粒子の少なくと もいくらかは該熱可塑性ガラスビーズ剥離層に部分的に包埋され、該不規則形状 ガラス粒子のいくらかは該熱可塑性ガラスビーズ剥離層に任意に完全に包埋さ れるように、該混合物は接着促進剤で任意に処理され、 該ガラスビーズと該不規則形状ガラス粒子との該混合物の平均断面直径は、該 混合物の少なくとも95重量%にとって、約20ミクロン〜約180ミクロンの 範囲にあり、 ガラスビーズと不規則形状ガラス粒子の総数の少なくとも95重量%は、最小 断面直径と最大断面直径との差が約3倍以下である3倍範囲内にあり、 該トランスファー物品は、該トランスファー物品の単位面積あたりの該ガラス ビーズと該不規則形状ガラス粒子との総数をもとにして、該トランスファー物品 の単位面積あたりの平均数で少なくとも約3%の不規則形状ガラス粒子を具備し 、前述の不規則形状ガラス粒子の平均数は該3倍範囲内にある最小断面直径と等 しいかより大きい断面直径を有する不規則形状ガラス粒子をもとにしており、 該ガラスビーズ及び不規則形状ガラス粒子は約1.5〜約1.6の間の屈折率 を有すること、 (c)第1の接着剤層の層を、該熱可塑性剥離層に包埋されない該ガラスビー ズ及び該不規則形状ガラス粒子の表面上に結合するステップと、を含み、 該ガラスビーズに対する該第1の接着剤層の接着が該ガラスビーズに対する該 熱可塑性剥離層の接着よりも強く、 該ガラスビーズ及び不規則形状ガラス粒子は、該トランスファー物品の該トラ ンスファーキャリアの除去時に、該ガラスビーズ及び不規則形状ガラス粒子の混 合物を中に部分的に包埋した連続層を有する該第1の接着剤の平面の摩擦係数が 約0.3未満であるように配置されるトランスファー物品製造方法。 10.前記物品の前記第1の接着剤層の前記包埋されたガラスビーズ層とは反 対側に結合される支持体層、接着剤層、着色重合体層及び剥離層からなる群から 選択される1つ以上の層を結合するステップを更に含む請求項9記載のトランス ファー物品製造方法。 11.画像の形態で任意に配置される1つ以上の着色重合体層と支持体とを前 記透明な第一の接着剤層に結合するステップを更に含み、該着色重合体層は、該 透明な第1の接着剤層の前記包埋されたガラスビーズ層とは反対側と該支持体 層との間に結合される請求項9記載のトランスファー物品製造方法。 12.前記着色重合体層は、4色印刷法によって設けられる請求項11記載の トランスファー物品製造方法。
