Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.水性スラリー中で約85°〜約 105℃の範囲内の温度においてホウ酸と石灰 を反応させることからなり、前記反応においてホウ酸の水に対するモル比は約0. 25: 1よりも大きく、そして石灰のホウ酸に対するモル比は約0.05〜約0.15: 1 の範囲内にある、結晶性ヘキサホウ酸カルシウム四水和物を製造する方法。 2.ホウ酸の水に対するモル比が約0.3 〜約0.45: 1の範囲内にある請求項1 に記載の方法。 3.石灰のホウ酸に対するモル比が約0.1 〜約0.13: 1の範囲内にある請求項 1に記載の方法。 4.温度が約95°〜約 101℃の範囲内にある請求項1に記載の方法。 5.石灰が炭酸カルシウムである請求項1に記載の方法。 6.石灰が水和石灰である請求項1に記載の方法。 7.水性スラリー中で約95°〜約 101℃の範囲内の温度においてホウ酸と石灰 を反応させること、及び、結晶性ヘキサホウ酸カルシウム四水和物を前記のスラ リーより分離することからなる結晶性ヘキサホウ酸カルシウム四水和物を製造す る方法であって、前記反応においてホウ酸の水に対するモル比は約0.3 〜約0.45 : 1の範囲内にあり、そして石灰のホウ酸に対するモル比は約0.1 〜約0.13: 1 の範囲内にある、前記の方法。 8.おおよそ球形放射状クラスターに配置された、薄い、連晶したプレートレ ット(intergrown platelets)から成る結晶性ヘキサホウ酸カルシウム四水和物。 9.請求項1に記載の方法により製造された結晶性ヘキサホウ酸カルシウム四 水和物組成物を脱水する方法であって、前記組成物を約 325℃より高い温度で加 熱する、結晶性ヘキサホウ酸カルシウム四水和物組成物を脱水する方法。 10.温度が約 450℃〜約 550℃の範囲内である請求項9に記載の方法。 11.おおよそ球形放射状クラスターに配置された、薄い、連晶したプレートレ ットから成る仮像構造を有する無定形のヘキサホウ酸カルシウム組成物。
