Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. a)射出成形機内で成形すべきプラスチックのショットが受けるべき最大 応力を決定し、前記最大応力はプラスチックが射出成形機の金型のキャビティ内 で冷却されるときに起こる体積収縮の結果であり、 b)プラスチックが射出成形機のバレル内で可塑化されるときにプラスチ ックのショットを第1溶融圧力まで加圧し、前記第1溶融圧力は前記計算された 最大応力と実質的に等しく、 c)前記キャビティ内の空気を前記第1溶融圧力と実質的に等しい空気圧 まで加圧し、 d)溶融プラスチックがプラスチックをキャビティに入れる箇所に対して 同心に前記キャビティの中へ流入する層流の方法で、プラスチックの前記ショッ トのキャビティの中への射出を開始させ、 e)前記キャビティ内の前記空気圧を実質的に一定に維持しながら、プラ スチックの前記ショットの溶融圧力を第2溶融圧力まで増大させ、プラスチック の前記ショットをキャビティの中へ射出する所定時間の可なりの部分の間、前記 キャビティ内の前記空気圧と前記第2溶融圧力との間の実質的に一定の差を維持 し、 f)前記第1及び第2の溶融圧力を検知し、それらの圧力を示すフィード バック信号を生じさせ、 g)前記フィードバック信号を受け、前記フィードバック信号を基準値と 比較し、前記第1及び第2の溶融圧力を制御するための信号を生じさせ、 h)工程(b)に戻る、 工程を含むことを特徴とする、射出成形機で使用される射出成形方法。 2.射出成形機内で成形すべきプラスチックのショットが受けるべき最大応力を 決定する工程が、 プラスチックのショットが受けるべき最大均一荷重を以下の式に従って計算 し、 ここで、qは単位面積当たりの均一荷重であり、aはキャビティの幅 であり、bはキャビティの厚さであり、hはキャビティの高さであり、Eはプラ スチックの見掛けの弾性率であり、kはプラスチックの熱変形温度にもとづく変 数であり、yはプラスチックの収縮係数であり、 プラスチックのショットが受けるべき最大の機械的応力を以下の式に従って 計算し、 ここで、S(機械的)は成形品が受けるべき最大の機械的応力であり 、qは単位面積当たりの均一荷重であり、aはキャビティの幅であり、bはキャ ビティの厚さであり、hはキャビティの高さであり、 プラスチックのショットが受けるべき最大の熱応力を以下の式に従って計算 し、 S(熱) = dT * L * E ここで、S(熱)は成形品が受けるべき最大の熱応力であり、dTは 室温とプラスチックが変形の塑性範囲になる温度との間のプラスチックの温度の 変化であり、Lは熱係数であり、Eはプラスチックの弾性率であり、 プラスチックのショットが受けるべき最大応力をS(機械的)とS(熱)の 大きい方の値として決定する、 ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の射出成形方法。 3.工程(b)の前に、所定の高い速度値と低い速度値の範囲内の射出速度で普 通に射出成形できるプラスチック材料を選択し、 工程(d)の後に、前記プラスチックを前記キャビティの中へ前記高い速度 値より前記低い速度値に近い射出速度で射出する、 工程を更に含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の射出成形方法。 4.工程(b)の前に、所定の高い圧力値と低い圧力値の範囲内の射出圧力で普 通に射出成形できるプラスチック材料を選択し、 工程(d)の後に、前記プラスチックを前記キャビティの中へ前記高い圧力 値より前記低い圧力値に近い射出圧力で射出する、 工程を更に含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の射出成形方法。 5.プラスチックのキャビティの中への射出の前に、発泡剤をプラスチックに加 える工程を更に含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の射出成形方法。 6.射出成形機によって金型キャビティの中へ射出された溶融プラスチックから 金型キャビティ内で形成されたプラスチック成形品の内部応力を減じる方法であ って、 キャビティを所定の空気圧まで加圧する工程と、 溶融プラスチックを前記所定の空気圧と等しい第1溶融圧力で創り出すよう に射出成形装置を作動させる工程と、 所定の空気圧と第1溶融圧力が等しくなるとき、溶融プラスチックを金型キ ャビティと連通させる工程と、 引き続いて、溶融圧力を第2溶融圧力まで増大させ、溶融プラスチックを金 型キャビティの中へ射出する所定の時間の可なりの部分の間、金型キャビティ内 の前記空気圧と前記第2溶融圧力との間の実質的に一定の差を維持し、それによ って、形成されるプラスチック成形品の内部応力を減じる方法で、溶融プラスチ ックに作用する圧力の状態を最適にする工程と、 を含むことを特徴とする、プラスチック成形品の内部応力を減じる方法。 7.溶融プラスチックを受け入れるためのキャビティが形成された金型と、金型 キャビティを所定の溶融圧力で溶融プラスチックで充填する射出圧力を作るため の液圧ユニットとを有する、射出成形機で使用される射出成形方法であって、 空気を所定の空気圧でキャビティに供給し、 射出中、溶融圧力を検知し、 射出中、キャビティ内の空気圧を検知し、 検知した溶融圧力及び検知した空気圧を監視し、溶融圧力を所望レベルで維 持するための、液圧ユニットに送るべき信号を生じさせる閉ループ制御器を設け る工程と、 を含むことを特徴とする射出成形方法。 8.プラスチックが金型内で加工されるとき、プラスチックが受けるべき最大応 力を決定し、 プラスチックの金型の中への射出の前に、プラスチック内の逆圧を生じさせ 、前記逆圧は前記決定された最大応力と実質的に等しく、 前記プラスチックが金型の中に射出されるとき、プラスチック内の前記逆圧 を前記決定された最大応力と少なくとも等しく維持する、 工程を含むことを特徴とする、金型を有する射出成形機で使用される射出成形 方法。 9.金型キャビティの中へ射出された溶融プラスチックから金型キャビティ内で 形成されたプラスチック成形品の内部応力を減じる方法であって、 キャビティに所定の空気圧まで圧力を加える工程と、 溶融体を所定の空気圧と等しい第1圧力まで加圧する工程と、 前記の両圧力が等しくなるとき、溶融プラスチックをキャビティと連通させ る工程と、 引き続いて、射出のために、溶融圧力を第2溶融圧力まで増大させる工程と 、 を含むことを特徴とする、プラスチック成形品の内部応力を減じる方法。
