Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.非水性電解液を収容する電池またはスーパーコンデンサー用の電極であって 、電子伝導性の多孔質層である第1層を含み、この層はポリマー材料から成る微 孔質層である第2層で被覆された少なくとも一つの第1面を有し、前記第2層が 前記第1面に含浸させたポリマー溶液からポリマーを凝固させることによって形 成されることを特徴とする電極。 2.第2層の気孔率が30〜95%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電 極。 3.第2層の厚みが10〜100μmであることを特徴とする請求項1または2 に記載の電極。 4.第2層がポリ(フッ化ビニリデン)、ポリ(塩化ビニル)、ポリ(メタクリ ル酸メチル)、セルロースアセテート、ポリスルホン、ポリエーテル及びポリオ レフィン、並びにこれらのコポリマーの中から選択されたポリマー材料から成る ことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の電極。 5.第2層がポリマー材料から成り、この材料はポリ(フッ化ビニリデン)と、 ポリスルホン、ポリ(メタクリ ル酸メチル)及びポリ(ビニルピロリドン)、並びにポリ(フッ化ビニリデン) とポリ(テトラフルオロエチレン)とのコポリマー、ポリ(フッ化ビニリデン) と六フッ化プロピレンとのコポリマー及び酢酸ビニルとビニルアルコールとのコ ポリマーの中から選択されたポリマーとから成るアロイであることを特徴とする 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の電極。 6.第2層が該層を構成するポリマーの10重量%未満の湿潤剤も含有すること を特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の電極。 7.第2層を構成するポリマー材料が架橋ポリマーであることを特徴とする請求 項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の電極。 8.導電性支持体も含むことを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載 の電極。 9.支持体が前記第1層の第1面と接触して配置されており、前記第2層は第1 層の第2面に付着することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の電極。 10.支持体が第1層に含まれ、第2層は第1層の第1面及び第2面に付着する ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の 電極。 11.請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の電極を含み、前記電極の第1層は 活性炭及び遷移金属酸化物の中から選択された電気化学的活物質を含有し、第2 層はポリ(フッ化ビニリデン)から成るスーパーコンデンサー。 12.請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の電極を含み、前記電極の第1層は アルカリカチオンの挿入が可能な物質の中から選択された電気化学的活物質を含 有し、第2層はポリ(フッ化ビニリデン)であるポリマー材料から成る電池。 13.請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の電極を製造する方法であって、 第1層を形成するステップ、 形成した第1層を、ポリマーを揮発性溶媒に溶解させた溶液の膜で被覆するステ ップ、 前記膜を、前記溶媒と混和し得る第一の揮発性非溶媒と接触させるステップ、 最後に、電極を乾燥して前記溶媒及び非溶媒を除去するステップ を含む方法。 14.溶媒をシクロヘキサノン、ジクロロメタン、ジメチルアセトアミド、ジメ チルホルムアミド、ヘキサメチルホスホルアミド、ジメチルスルホキシド、リン 酸トリエチル、N−メチルピロリドン、及びこれらの混合物の中から選択した有 機溶媒とすることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。 15.ポリマー溶液に第二の非溶媒も含有させ、その含有比率はポリマーの析出 の惹起に不十分なものとすることを特徴とする請求項11または12に記載の方 法。 16.第一及び/または第二の非溶媒を水、エタノール、エチレングリコール、 グリセロール、アセトン、プロピレンカーボネート、ジクロロメタン、酢酸エチ ル、ブタノール、ペンタノール、アセトニトリル、及びこれらの混合物の中から 選択することを特徴とする請求項11から13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 17.第1層をポリマー溶液の膜で被覆する前に該層の表面に湿潤剤を含浸させ ることを特徴とする請求項11から14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 18.電極乾燥後にポリマーを架橋させるステップを更に含み、ポリマー溶液に 架橋剤を含有させることを特徴とす る請求項11から15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
