Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本考案は円筒状軸受の端部に鍔を設置した鍔付
軸受に関する。
〔従来の技術〕
鍔付軸受は円筒状軸受と鍔から成り、円筒状軸
受で横方に掛かる軸の荷重を支え、鍔で縦方に掛
かる軸の荷重を支えるものである。
一般にブルドーザーやパワーシヤベルのような
建設機械の下転輪に用いられる鍔付軸受は、摺動
部に大荷重が掛かるため機械的強度の強い鍔に
LBCやPBCのような耐荷重性のある軸受合金を
張り付けたもので作られている。従つて、ハウジ
ング本体の穴に密着した部分では優れた強度を発
揮できるものである。
従来の鍔付軸受は第4,5図に示すように、円
筒状軸受の内面、即ち軸8を支える面については
両端に小さな面取り9,9が施されていただけの
ものであつた。該面取りは円筒状軸受内への軸の
挿入を容易にするとともに、軸の回転時、軸のブ
レや撓みで鋭い角部となつた円筒状軸受の端部が
軸を傷つけないようにするものである。
〔考案が解決しようとする課題〕
しかるに、従来の鍔付軸受は長期間使用するう
ちに第5図に示す如く、鍔2に近い円筒状軸受1
に亀裂Kが入るという事故を起こすことがあつ
た。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
本考案者が従来の鍔付軸受における亀裂発生の
原因について鋭意検討を重ねた結果、ハウジング
本体5の穴に施した面取り7が影響していること
をつきとめた。ハウジング本体の穴の面取りは鍔
付軸受をハウジング本体の穴に嵌合する時に円滑
に行わしめるためのものである。つまり、ハウジ
ング本体の穴径と鍔付軸受の円筒状軸受の外径の
クリアランスは僅か0.05〜0.2mmという小さなも
のであり、該穴が穿設加工のままであると穴の入
口が鋭利な角部となつているため、円筒状軸受を
穴に嵌合する時に、円筒状軸受の外側が穴入口の
角部に引掛かつて嵌合できなくなつてしまうこと
から穴の入口に面取りを施して嵌合を容易にして
いる。
ところで、鍔付軸受に挿入設置された軸8は大
きな荷重が掛かつたり、軸受と軸とが偏心してい
ると第5図に示すように撓むようになる。この時
の荷重は、軸が鍔付軸受から出る部分、即ち鍔が
設置された端部に大きく掛かるが、該端部のハウ
ジング本体の穴の入口には前述の如く面取りが施
され、円筒軸受との間に空洞が形成されているた
め、鍔付軸受の端部は該空洞内に押されて屈曲す
るようになる。従つて軸の撓みが周期的にある
と、鍔付軸受の端部は面取りの空洞内に押されて
出たり入つたりする屈曲となり、長期間のうちに
この部分に金属疲労が起こつて、ついには亀裂を
発生させてしまうものである。
そこで本考案者は、軸が撓んでも鍔付軸受の端
部に力が掛からないようにすれば、該端部に金属
疲労を起こさせないことに着目して本考案を完成
させた。
本考案は、円筒状軸受と鍔から成る鍔付軸受に
おいて、鍔付軸受をハウジング本体の穴に嵌合し
た時、L≧W+D(L:逃げ溝の長さ、W:鍔の
厚さ、D:面取り部の長さ)を満足するように該
穴の面取部と同一かまたはそれよりも奥方となる
逃げ溝を形成し、円筒状軸受の内面の鍔側端部に
は撓んだ軸が接触しないように構成したことを特
徴とする鍔付軸受である。
〔実施例〕
以下、図面に基づいて本考案を説明する。
第1図および第2図に示すように、鍔付軸受は
円筒状軸受1と鍔2から構成されており、それぞ
れ機械的強度に強い鋼を裏金とし、軸を支える部
分には潤滑性に優れた軸受材料3が張り付けられ
ている。円筒状軸受の内面で鍔側端部には逃げ溝
4が形成されている。該逃げ溝は撓んだ軸が接触
しないようなものでなければならない。逃げ溝の
形成位置はハウジング本体5に穿設した鍔付軸受
埋込用の穴6の面取7と同一かまたはそれよりも
奥方である。これを理解に便宜なように第3図を
参照して式で表すと次の如くとなる。
逃げ溝の長さL ≧鍔の厚さW+面取りの深さD L<W+Dとなると、逃げ溝の奥行きが短くな
つてハウジング本体5の面取部7の隅部の応力集
中は避けられず、第5図に示すような亀裂発生は
避けられない。
なお、逃げ溝の形状は図面に示すような段状の
他、図示しない傾斜溝でもよい。
次に本考案の鍔付軸受における軸の支持状態に
ついて説明する。
鍔付軸受に挿入した軸8が撓んで円筒状軸受1
の鍔側端部方向に屈曲しても該端部には逃げ溝4
が形成されているため、軸は該端部に接触しな
い。従つて、軸が円筒状軸受の端部を押し付けて
面取りの空洞内に屈曲させることがないため鍔付
軸受に金属疲労による亀裂の発生は起こらないも
のである。この時、軸が円筒軸受を強く押す部分
は円筒状軸受の逃げ溝の手前、即ち穴の面取りよ
りも奥方となる。
〔考案の効果〕
以上説明した如く、本考案の鍔付軸受は円筒状
軸受の端部が軸の撓みて屈曲しないため、金属疲
労による亀裂発生が皆無となり長期間安定した軸
受特性を発揮できるものである。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 円筒状軸受と鍔から成る鍔付軸受において、鍔
    付軸受をハウジング本体5の穴6に嵌合した時、
    L≧W+D(L:逃げ溝の長さ、W:鍔の厚さ、
    D:面取り部の長さ)を満足するように該穴6の
    面取部7と同一かまたはそれよりも奥方となる逃
    げ溝を形成し、円筒状軸受1の内面の鍔側端部に
    は撓んだ軸が接触しないように構成したことを特
    徴とする鍔付軸受。
