Description
まず、本実施形態に係る往復動圧縮機1(レシプロ圧縮機)の構成を、図1及び図2を参照して説明する。
次に、ピストンリング2について詳細に説明する。ピストンリング2は、各ピストン(第1低段ピストン132、第1高段ピストン134、第2低段ピストン233、第2高段ピストン235)の外周部に装着され、当該ピストンの外周部とシリンダ体(第1低段シリンダ121、第1高段シリンダ124、第2低段シリンダ223、第2高段シリンダ225)の内壁面との間の隙間をシールする円環状の部品である。ピストンリング2を装着することにより、各圧縮室からのガス漏れを抑制することができる。ピストンリング2は、各ピストンの外周面に沿って環状に形成された凹溝(図示しない)内に装着されている。

Claims (3)
- 水素ガスを圧縮する多段式の往復動圧縮機の少なくとも最終段に用いられ、ピストンの外周部とシリンダの内壁面との間の隙間をシールするピストンリングであって、
ポリテトラフルオロエチレンとポリイミドとの合計量が全体の50質量%以上であり、かつ、ポリフェニレンサルファイドを含まず、かつ、引張強度が15MPaより大きく且つ44.8MPa以下の範囲内である(ただし、18MPa以下を除く)、ピストンリング。 - 水素ステーションにおいて水素ガスを所定の圧力まで昇圧する多段式の往復動圧縮機であって、
水素ガスが吸入される圧縮室が形成されたシリンダ体と、
前記シリンダ体内に配置され、前記圧縮室の容積が変わるように前記シリンダ体内を往復運動するピストンと、
少なくとも最終段において前記ピストンの外周部に装着され、前記ピストンの外周部と前記シリンダ体の内壁面との間の隙間をシールする請求項1に記載のピストンリングと、を備えた、往復動圧縮機。 - 水素ガスを圧縮する多段式の往復動圧縮機の少なくとも最終段に用いられ、ピストンの外周部とシリンダの内壁面との間の隙間をシールするピストンリングを選定する方法であって、
ポリテトラフルオロエチレンとポリイミドとの合計量が全体の50質量%以上であり、かつ、ポリフェニレンサルファイドを含まず、かつ、引張強度が15MPaより大きく且つ44.8MPa以下の範囲内である(ただし、18MPa以下を除く)ものを、ピストンの外周部に装着されるピストンリングとして選定する、ピストンリングの選定方法。
