Claims (17)
- タルクを有するポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)合金を形成する方法であって、
PET/タルク混合物のフィード(PET/タルクフィード)を提供することであって、前記PET/タルク混合物は、
PETのフィード(PETフィード)を提供すること、
タルクのフィード(タルクフィード)を提供すること、及び
前記PETのフィードと前記タルクのフィードとを、PET:タルク比が3:1~1:3の重量比で、ミキサーで混合して別のタイプのポリマーを含まないPET/タルク混合物を形成することにより得られ、前記PET/タルク混合物は、第1のPET分布の第1の平均分子量を有するPETを含む、PET/タルク混合物のフィード(PET/タルクフィード)を提供することと、
第2のPETのフィード(第2のPETフィード)を提供することであって、前記第2のPETフィードは、第2のPET分布の第2の平均分子量を有するPETを含み、前記第2の平均分子量は、前記第1の平均分子量よりも大きい、第2のPETのフィード(第2のPETフィード)を提供することと、
前記第2のPETのフィードと前記PET/タルク混合物のフィードとをミキサーで混合して、別のタイプのポリマーを含まない1%(w/w)~50%(w/w)のタルクを有するPET合金を形成することと、
前記PET合金を、前記第1のPET分布の前記第1の平均分子量と前記第2のPET分布の前記第2の平均分子量とを有する二峰性のPETとして提供すること
を含み、
前記第1の平均分子量および前記第2の平均分子量は、数平均分子量、重量平均分子量、およびZ平均分子量から選択される、方法。 - PET供給部が、
PET反応器システムであって、PET前駆体試薬から前記PETを重合するPET反応器システム、
PETリサイクルシステムであって、PET製品から前記PETをリサイクルするPETリサイクルシステム、
PET調整システムであって、タルクと混合するために前記PETを調整し、前記調整が、加熱、PETペレット若しくはシート若しくは他のPET部材の細断、撹拌、押出し、乾燥、ガス抜きの1つ以上から選択されるPET調整システム、又は
液体PETを有するPETリザーバであって、前記液体PETが溶融PETであるPETリザーバ
のうちの1つ以上から前記第2のPETフィードを受け取る、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ミキサーが、脱気、均質化、分散、又は加熱のうちの1つ以上も実行する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記PET合金を出力システムに提供することを含み、前記出力システムが、前記PET合金を貯蔵部又は分析システム又は製造システムに提供し、
前記分析システムが、
溶融PET合金出力の流量を決定すること、
PET合金出力の融点を決定すること、
PET合金出力の結晶化温度を決定すること、
PET合金出力の示差走査熱量測定プロファイルを決定すること、又は
PET合金出力の熱変形温度を決定すること
を行う1つ以上の分析システムを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記製造システムが、前記PET合金出力を製造製品に変換するように構成されており、前記方法が、前記PET合金出力を前記製造製品に変換することを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記PET/タルクフィードと混合する前に前記第2のPETフィードを乾燥させること、及び/又は
前記第2のPETフィードと混合する前に前記PET/タルクフィードを乾燥させること
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)合金であって、
第1のPET分布および第2のPET分布を含む二峰性のPETであって、
第1の平均分子量を有する前記第1のPET分布のPETポリマー及び
第2の平均分子量を有する前記第2のPET分布のPETポリマー
を含み、
前記第1のPET分布と前記第2のPET分布とを有する前記二峰性のPETのために、前記第1の平均分子量が、前記第2の平均分子量より小さい、二峰性のPETと、
前記PET中のタルクであって、前記タルクが、重量比で少なくとも1%かつ50%未満の量で存在している、前記PET中のタルクとを含み、
前記PET合金は、別のタイプのポリマーを含まず、
前記第1の平均分子量および前記第2の平均分子量は、数平均分子量、重量平均分子量、およびZ平均分子量から選択される、PET合金。 - 前記タルクが、0.25ミクロン~100ミクロンのタルク粒子を含む、請求項7に記載のPET合金。
- 前記PET合金が、重量比で5%未満の水を含む、請求項7に記載のPET合金。
- 前記PET合金が、重量比で60%~99%のPET濃度を有する、請求項7に記載のPET合金。
- 前記PET合金が、重量比で1%~40%のタルク濃度を有する、請求項7に記載のPET合金。
- 前記PET合金は、30℃のメルカプトプロピオン酸イソオクチルを含む60/40フェノール/1,1,2,2テトラクロロエタンに溶解させた後の固有粘度が0.5dL/g~0.9dL/gである、請求項7に記載のPET合金。
- 前記PET合金が、タルクとTiO2粒子との組み合わせを、重量比で1%~40%の合計濃度で有する、請求項7に記載のPET合金。
- 前記PET合金が、240℃~250℃の溶融温度を有する、請求項7に記載のPET合金。
- 前記PET合金が、3~6CC/(m2/日)±25%の酸素透過率を有する、請求項7に記載のPET合金。
- 前記PET合金が、200℃~230℃の結晶化温度を有する、請求項7に記載のPET合金。
- 非ポリマーである以下の材料:
TiO2、ガラスペレット、ガラス繊維、ガラス粒子、ステアリン酸ナトリウム、核剤、帯電防止剤、抗菌剤、発泡剤、安定剤、UV遮断剤、アセトアルデヒド捕捉剤、顔料、及び潤滑剤
のうちの1つ以上をさらに含む、請求項7に記載のPET合金。
